The project team high-fived each other excitedly, and surveyor Du Linhai couldn't hide his excitement: "This is the first goal I have achieved with the team since I joined the company!" ”
The total length of the Nanjing Jianning West Road cross-river channel project is about 6.8 kilometers, and the Hengjiang Avenue interchange with the participation of the Third Harbor Bureau is a full underground interchange structure, as an underground diaphragm wall deep foundation pit project, less than 900 meters away from the nearest part of the Yangtze River. Affected by objective factors, the project redivided the 2 construction areas into 8 independent foundation pits, which posed a challenge to the construction schedule.
At the beginning of the construction of the project, in addition to the leadership team being party members, the team was basically a youth league member with more than enough effort but little experience. In order to allow young employees and project construction to grow together, Han Junguo, the project manager, and Han Shichang, secretary of the Party branch, planted two flags of "Party Member Commando" and "Youth Commando" on the site, and selected the first construction area of I-2 as the "bridgehead". "Zone I-2 is the first run-in between the young employees of the project, and the construction of Zone I-2 will not only boost morale, but also lay the foundation for subsequent construction," said Han. ”
Han Junguo led by example, moved his office to the scene, and both "pressed" and "charged" on the front line. Based on his own project management experience, Han Junguo implemented list management in the construction of I-2 area, traced back from the node target to the source, and each department predicted the problems that may arise in the construction process, coordinated and clarified the responsible person and time node, and then listed a detailed work list in a targeted manner. Under the leadership of the party member commando, everyone from the leadership team, department heads to young employees participated in the node work. "Every department and even each person has a different work style, and the project team is not only conducive to breaking down the barriers between lines, but also forming a working style and rhythm that integrates parts into parts." Han Junguo said.
In the 2022 flood season, although the enclosure structure of the ground wall has been completely closed, the surging water level of the Yangtze River has brought great pressure to the precipitation of the foundation pit. Because the foundation pit is close to the Yangtze River, and the water level in the flood season is higher than in previous years, the water pressure increases, and the precipitation effect of the foundation pit is not ideal. After just half a month of excavation, according to the comparison between the actual site and the plan, the project team predicted that this would inevitably affect the construction period. While taking the lead in solving the problem, Han Junguo brought the "two flags" to the project technical research team and encouraged young employees to carry out technical research. Under the guidance of Zhang Lijun, the chief engineer of the project, the QC team composed of young employees carried out research from many aspects, and finally through the method of "optimizing the layout of the precipitation well and adjusting the material and process of the filter material", with the mixing of 25 kilowatt pumps, the expected precipitation effect was achieved, and a national utility model patent was authorized.
In order to make up for the missed progress, the project team was stationed at the site en masse. "At the busiest time, the 'three meetings and one lesson' of the party branch and the youth league branch were all held on the spot." Han Shichang recalled. Due to the proximity of the construction site to the surrounding high-rise buildings, the control of settlement is also an important part of ensuring safety and quality, under the coordination of the team, four surveyors worked in two shifts, and on the premise of not delaying the on-site construction lofting, the monitoring and measurement once every two days was changed to twice a day, so as to provide more accurate data support for the construction.
In 2022 alone, the project organized 25 trainings for the construction of the I-2 area, allowing a group of inexperienced "recruit eggs" to gradually grow into "veterans" of on-site management, 3 post-90s generations were promoted to project department heads, 2 people became professional line supervisors of the enterprise, and the project also won honors such as Jiangsu Worker Pioneer and Nanjing Youth Civilization. After the main structure of the I-2 area was capped, 5 employees submitted applications to the party branch to join the party. Du Linhai is one of them, he said: "I will also work hard to improve, and strive to contribute more to the party organization as soon as possible." ”
Now, the underground structure of the project has been capped on May 30, and the project has fully started the ground auxiliary road system project, laying a good foundation for the completion on schedule.
