On the morning of July 24, Li Tao, Secretary of the Longting District Party Committee, and Zhou Feng, Political Commissar of the Colonel of the District People's Armed Forces Department, visited and condoled with representatives of current and retired soldiers in our district. Relevant responsible comrades of the District Veterans Affairs Bureau, Wuchaomen Sub-district Office and Beidaomen Sub-district Office participated in the condolence activities.
At the home of Fan Dazhao, a representative of the servicemen, Li Tao had a cordial conversation with the military families, inquired in detail about the living conditions and physical conditions of the family members, and thanked them for cultivating outstanding talents for the army and the country. At the same time, I hope that they will continue to be a strong "backing" for soldiers, so that soldiers can serve the country with peace of mind in the army, and express condolences to the servicemen on active duty through their families. The military family members said that they will, as always, support and encourage their relatives to serve in the army with peace of mind, work hard, make new contributions, win glory for their hometown, and make greater contributions to the motherland.
At the home of Shao Jinglin, a disabled veteran, Li Tao had a knee-to-knee conversation with him and asked him about his family's life and physical condition. Li Tao said that veterans are the precious wealth of the party and the country, and all departments at all levels should implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on the work of veterans, implement the policies of supporting the army and giving preferential treatment to their families with responsibility and feelings, and effectively do practical things for them and solve problems, and constantly enhance the sense of belonging, honor and happiness of veterans, and promote the work of veterans to be more warm and quality.
