Succulents such as mountain roses, in general, are not recommended to buy, because they do not have any maintenance value, and the vast majority of succulent flower friends are not good at raising this kind of succulents, and the mortality rate is very high in summer.
Succulent species are very rich, some species are indeed very difficult to maintain, and the difficulty of maintenance is high, which indicates that their mortality rate is also very high, so for this kind of succulent, you can not buy it as much as possible, the maintenance time is relatively short, and it has completely died in less than half a year after buying home.
Why is the mortality rate of mountain roses so high?
A large number of deaths of plants themselves are affected by many factors, in fact, not only personal maintenance factors, but also environmental factors, the large environment is not very suitable for the growth of plants, so there will be death, such as the reason why the mortality rate of mountain roses is so high, the main reason is that the plant itself is not resistant to high temperatures, and the ability to withstand high temperatures is relatively poor.
In the north and south of the mainland, the temperature is basically 30 degrees in summer, the temperature in the south is higher, and it can even be close to 38 degrees, the higher temperature exacerbates the death of mountain roses, the leaves of mountain roses themselves are very thin, and do not have the ability to store water, in the summer, if you water normally, it will lead to rotten roots, if you do not water the leaves will be consumed, both positive and negative, so the mortality rate will be very high.
How can you make mountain roses better survive the hot summers? There is no better way, the only way is to control water maintenance, less watering or no watering in a place without sunlight, the plant will enter a dormant state if it does not bask in the sun and cannot absorb water, and the survival rate will be relatively higher.
All succulent species that look similar to mountain roses, it is not recommended that you buy, the survival rate is too low, the succulents that you spent dozens of dollars to buy, died in less than half a year, it is indeed not worth it, and the succulents of mountain roses also have a disadvantage that it cannot be propagated by cuttings through leaves, nor can it be propagated by cutting off heads, and if you buy it home and die, it will die completely, and it does not have any possibility of reproduction.
