People's Daily Beijing, July 26 (Reporter Yang Lei) On the evening of July 26, Beijing time, a number of preliminary competitions for the swimming events of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games continued.
In the women's 200m freestyle preliminaries, China's Yang Junxuan and Li Bingjie teamed up in group 4, and yang Junxuan finished third in the group with a time of 1:56.17 and successfully advanced to the semifinals. Li Bingjie's time was 1:59.03, ranking seventh in the group and missing the semi-finals.
In the women's 200m medley preliminaries, China's Yu Yiting's time was 2 minutes 10.22 seconds, ranking eighth in the overall performance list, and successfully advanced to the semifinals.
The women's 1500m race, which is entering the Olympic Games for the first time, has attracted much attention, and in tonight's preliminary round, China's Li Bingjie and Wang Jian Jiahe played in Group 4 and Group 5 respectively.
