Not long ago, I boarded the K896/5 passenger train on duty by the Chifeng Fleet of the Baotou Passenger Section of China Railway Hohhot Bureau Group Co., Ltd., and started an immersive on-board experience.
Don't crowd, stand in line, and watch your step.
Car 9 walked forward and saw the third conductor arrive.
At 15:15, at the No. 6 carriage where there were many passengers, I met the conductor Yang Lei, and there were too many passengers around him to inquire, and we didn't say too much to greet.
At 15:39, the train departed. Looking at the full carriages, Yang Lei said that the recent holidays of colleges and universities in the area have ushered in the peak of passenger flow, and two more carriages have been hung on the basis of the original carriages, and the work pressure of the crew has also increased.

I continued to follow Yang Lei, and every time I arrived at a carriage, he would check the doors and fire extinguishers one by one, and also pay attention to the temperature of the air conditioner, answer passenger inquiries, and remind safety precautions...... Athletic, patient and meticulous.
After the inspection of the carriage, the clock had pointed to 16:15, and Yang Lei and I had beads of sweat on our foreheads. I drank a large glass of water, rubbed my calves that were a little sore, and asked the question in my heart: "The carriage is full, but the luggage racks are neat, how do you do that?" ”
Yang Lei smiled and answered my doubts. They have formulated a plan for student passengers to carry more luggage and larger volume, and will deal with the situation of protruding luggage and improper placement in a timely manner; The luggage placed in the aisle will be properly placed and fixed with ropes to ensure the safety and smooth flow of the carriage.
Yang Lei said that due to the large amount of luggage, the conductors will remind passengers to bring their belongings before arriving at the station, but there will still be accidents. Therefore, they will increase the patrol of the car after driving, and find that the lost items are properly disposed of; After receiving the 12306 lost item work order, we will also help find it in time.
During this trip, I also experienced a "lost and found incident". At 17:30, at Hohhot East Station, Jiang Wenjing handed over a tablet computer intact to the owner. The joy of the passengers' recovery and the professionalism of the train staff are unforgettable.
At 17:40, the train continued to move forward. Yang Lei led the deputy conductor to eat and go back to the camper to rest, and Jiang Wenjing led the conductor to continue to stick to his post.
Passing by the train office seat, I met Yao Baoxi, a 58-year-old attendant who was making up for the passengers' tickets, and was the oldest staff member in the six groups of Chifeng. Referring to the hard work of making up tickets, he smiled and waved his hand: "It's not just me who is working hard, my colleague Xiao Zhang is also very hardworking. ”
Master Yao also said that the two captains have greatly met the needs of passengers for ticket compensation by optimizing the inspection and replenishment section, making reasonable use of the station-train interaction system, and improving the reuse rate of sleepers.
At 7 p.m., the passengers began to dine one after another. I noticed that Peng Bo, the conductor of the 5th car, had just finished collecting the sundries on the small table, cleaning the fruit peel plate, and cleaning the garbage under the passenger seats with a dustpan in one hand and a broom in the other. After a while, his shirt was soaked with sweat.
I struck up a conversation with him. When asked if he felt tired, he smiled shyly and said that the space in the carriage was small and crowded, and if the hygiene was not good, it would make passengers irritable. So every 30 minutes, they will do a small cleaning. When the travelers are satisfied, their hard work is worth it.
The summer train is also full of lively and active children. The flight attendants can be described as full of tricks: there are organized children to carry out safety knowledge classes, there are on-site teaching arithmetic, and there are patient accompaniment to play games......
At 22 o'clock, the train entered the night stage. The conductors began their night work without disturbing the rest of the passengers. I walked to the camping car and met Zhang Cong, the off-duty attendant, who was the "colleague Xiao Zhang" mentioned by Master Yao earlier, who was holding a business book and reading it intently.
I noticed that her uniform was different from the others, and that she had a badge of about the same size pinned to her badge, so I asked. She happily told me that this was the "Star Conductor" badge issued to her by the unit, and wearing it could motivate herself from time to time. She also said that she is currently only a one-star conductor, and there is a three-star conductor on the train, and she should try to keep up with her.
At 23:53, the train departed from Sangendalai Station and gradually melted into the night. I was thinking about the interview, and I didn't feel sleepy, and I happened to see the conductor Wang Jing wiping his face.

At this point, the passengers are resting, and we pack up the 'three rooms', so that the passengers can wake up in the morning and use them cleanly. And it was too cold to get out of the car and stand up just now, so it was just warm up for exercise.
It turned out that the temperature difference between day and night was extremely large, even in the scorching heat, the indoor and outdoor temperature at night had to differ by nearly 10 degrees Celsius, and the winter was unusually cold, which was a great test for the conductor of the perennial "sports car". Despite this, they overcame the odds and guarded every departure and arrival of passengers.
At 2:06 a.m., the train arrived at Jingpeng Station. From this station to Oban Station, it takes 2 hours and 40 minutes to run and 11 boarding and landing stations. The train has set up a fixed point of contact and is responsible for transporting supplies, documents and small equipment to the stations and work areas along the line, and the doors are opened every 17 minutes on average.
At 7 o'clock, the speeding train woke up to the early morning. Passengers had a good night's sleep and started their day with a hundred times more energy, while the conductors who had not slept all night continued to be busy.
The journey is long, but it's not lonely. Warm broadcasting, considerate service, civilized language, warm smiles, passengers or looking out of the window of the beautiful scenery, or talking and laughing, the carriage is full of warm and harmonious atmosphere.
At 10:34, Tongliao Station stopped. The sky was not beautiful, and suddenly it rained heavily. In order to ensure the safety of passengers, the conductors stood at the door of the train, helping passengers pass their luggage and belongings, while telling them to pay attention to non-slip, and let the rain run across their cheeks and wet their clothes.
At 15:33, the train arrived at the terminal Chifeng South Station, and the last group of passengers ended their journey with the intimate service of the conductors. The work of the conductors is far from over, after the collective queue to retrieve the meal, Yang Lei led 3 people to form a train watching group to prepare for the return early tomorrow morning, and the rest of the staff were led by Jiang Wenjing to stay in the train apartment for a short rest.
During a trip, the conductors have to inspect the carriages, clean them, and answer passengers' travel inquiries non-stop...... Watching their figures shuttling through the narrow carriages, I can really feel the hardships and difficulties behind them. The sun, moon and stars alternate, and although my experience with the car has come to an end, their daily life continues......
