Nanzhou Village is about 12 kilometers away from the central city of Gaoming, and it may be an ordinary village outside Gaoming District, but Yingxiang Ecological Park, a national 4A-level scenic spot in the village, is a well-known Internet celebrity tourist spot in Guangzhou-Foshan area, and the total number of tourists attracted annually has ranked first in the province's leisure scenic spots and 4A-level scenic spots.

This story starts with Yingxiang Ecological Park. Founded in 2000 as a "farmhouse" project that provided fruit picking and catering services, Yingxiang Ecological Park in the village was still operating at a loss until 2011 despite the introduction of new investors. With the opportunity of holding the third rape flower festival, in 2013, Yingxiang Ecological Park transformed from a farm to a comprehensive scenic spot, and constantly improved the parking lot, catering, mobile games and other supporting facilities. Nanzhou Village seized the opportunity in time to revitalize more than 3,000 acres of idle land for the further development and growth of the scenic spot, and now the scenic spot explores the new format of research and development, and increases the land price from 300~400 yuan/year/mu to 2,900 yuan/year/mu, which greatly enhances the value of land in the village.

The leading effect of the tourism industry brought by Yingxiang does not stop there. In 2020, the district market property company took a fancy to the radiation and driving role of the Yingxiang Ecological Park Agricultural Tourism Scenic Area, and invested more than 28 million yuan in Nanzhou Village to build a street for the sale of Gaoming agricultural products, and build it into a catering, special commodities and tourism distribution center near the Yingxiang Ecological Park. Since the completion of the project, it has increased the collective income of Nanzhou Village by an additional 950,000 yuan every year, solved the employment problem for the villagers, and achieved a win-win situation.

Returning to the agricultural nature of rural tourism, Nanzhou Village has concentrated the land scattered in the hands of farmers and built a production model of "company + base + farmer", effectively revitalizing the idle stock assets of the village collective and providing more jobs for the villagers. With the blessing of the "Cultural Tourism Nanzhou" brand, in the past three years, the total collective economic income of Nanzhou Village has shown an upward trend year by year, and the per capita income of villagers has also increased compared with before. According to statistics, in 2023, the total collective economic income of Nanzhou Village will reach 16.8294 million yuan. Next, the village will focus on planning and building a research and tourism-based Kaizhuang Heyuan B&B project, and strive to start the project as soon as possible. In addition, the traditional aquaculture base south of the Mingxi Highway will be transformed into an ecological planting and breeding area through the transformation of fish ponds and the development of agricultural tourism.
