About the Artist
Sun Huaying, a member of the Democratic League, is a native of Tai'an, Shandong, and now lives in Beijing.
He studied at the People's Liberation Army Academy of Arts, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the School of Arts of Peking University and the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University.
He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a member of the Chinese Women Painters Association, a member of the China Minority Art Promotion Association, a tutor of the Landscape Painting Seminar of the School of Art of Renmin University of Chinese, a director of the Dongcheng District Artists Association, a deputy director of the Chinese Painting Art Committee, a vice president of the Beijing Kyushu Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Association, a consultant of the Feicheng Artists Association, and a member of the 7th and 8th Feicheng CPPCC.
