Reporter: After the last online interview, how is your business situation?

Hou Xu: The current situation is good, we still have more than 20 students, and then there are some children who have signed up one after another, but the relative number is a little less. This time should belong to the off-season, mainly in the winter and summer vacations. Many parents who are now calling for consultation are also thinking about the winter and summer vacation registration, after all, if they come now, they will conflict with the school curriculum.

Reporter: What about the children who are currently coming to class, what about their school curriculum?

Hou Xu: These children have basically completed the procedures for taking a leave of absence or taking a long leave before they come.

Reporter: At present, is it more to train or to persuade more to retire?

Hou Xu: Now parents are still relatively unified, that is, to see if the child has this talent, if there is, to support him to fight, if not, it is best for him to wake up and go back to school to study, which is a common idea of parents.

Reporter: After the "e-sports persuasion" business became popular, you have also become a celebrity, have you been bothered by it?

Hou Xu: There are more people who come to consult, many parents call the time is not very friendly, very early or very late, the rest is fine. (It can be seen that parents are concerned about the urgency of their children)

Reporter: Have you ever thought about expanding your business?

Hou Xu: This is for sure, we are ready to start financing in June and July 2021, into other cities, especially first-tier cities, but we will also be cautious in development, although the opening of franchise to make money will be very fast, but after all, e-sports education has its particularity, each child is different, it is difficult to use quantitative forms to replicate this model, we would rather go slower, rather than go astray, or will take a direct way to open branches.

Reporter: What are your thoughts on the successful holding of this year's e-sports in China?

Hou Xu: I entered the e-sports industry in 2001, there are many difficulties along the way, and the success of this festival I think is a signal that e-sports is more formal.

Reporter: In this industry, do you think there are some things that are not very formal?

Hou Xu: Let me give you an example, a classmate such as a strength of 2000 points of King Glory, he signed up to call to consult, he will ask a question, what is the probability of being able to hit the profession? A level like 2000 points is relatively strong among players, but it is still far from the professional player, in fact, it may only be 1%. Sometimes I can't bear to hit them, I just say 5%. But when many institutions reply, he will tell the child to come to the training to reach 100%, in this case, the child will most likely choose the one that promises 100%.

Reporter: 100% is unrealistic, so what will they do next?

Hou Xu: Like some can play 2000 points, teach him some skills, he tries hard to hit 2300 points easily, there will be improvement, those institutions will talk to the children, this period you have a great improvement, not far from the distance of professional players, and then call and the parents of the children to say that the children are very talented, let them pay money to renew the training. But 2500+ points is a huge threshold for ordinary people, and many times you are one or two hundred points away from professional players, but this one or two hundred points is often impossible to cross in a lifetime.

Reporter: This situation is really a headache, so what will the parents do?

Hou Xu: Some parents are also confused, thinking that what the institution promises should be done, simply throwing the child in the institution, neither paying money nor coming to pick it up, so this industry still needs to be formalized.

Reporter: What do you think is the reason for this?

Hou Xu: This is the outlet, the advantage is that many people will come to do it, the disadvantage is that many uneven institutions will also do it, and now a lot of e-sports education is a traditional education change, their enrollment and teaching are two different departments, not even a company, which leads to the admissions of him to go to random flickering. It is to pull people to the car first, even if there is a problem later, it is no longer related to sales, and then there is a special after-sales public relations team to help him.

Reporter: This situation is really worrying.

Hou Xu: Yes, there are some parents who are willing to send their children to formal training institutions, but the children insist on going to those institutions that are promised at will, and in the end, the parents are unable to twist their arms and thighs. The formalization of e-sports training can not be done by relying on individual strength, and requires the joint efforts of all parties, for example, some informal e-sports education is now easy to search.

Reporter: What problems do you think there are in the field of e-sports education?

Hou Xu: In general, there are 4 kinds, the first of which is very familiar to everyone, that is, the previous electric shock treatment of Internet addiction and some of the violence treatments that have been introduced, which will cause great harm to the child's body and mind.

The second is some informal psychotherapy clinics, or psychological counseling institutions, sometimes children do not have so serious problems, but these institutions in order to make parents pay money, will serious the problem, fool parents to spend more money. We had a case before, that is, all The Beijing children sent to our side, his case is to shut himself at home every day to play games, in the Beijing psychological clinic, hospital these spent about fifty or sixty thousand did not solve, and then came to us, in fact, he very much likes to communicate with us, there is no problem at all, there is no autism or depression and other problems, his problem is that parents can not understand e-sports, he has no way to communicate with parents.

The third is some vocational training institutions, they open e-sports majors is to recruit his tools, to put it bluntly, the school opens an Internet café for children to play, regardless of them, and other children are tired of playing to recommend some other majors, this kind of school sometimes recruits six or seven hundred, how can he take care of every child.

The fourth is the educational institutions just mentioned, they promise children at will, and when things go wrong, they will find various reasons to shirk. Therefore, like other industries, domestic e-sports education has just begun, and there will be many problems on the road to development, these problems cannot be solved by a part of the effort alone, and we hope that more voices, especially the mainstream media, will join in and strive to do the right thing together.
