Mirror revenge mansour joined Manchester City's first season of reinforcements: 82.5 million pounds signed Robinho and other 6 people

Live bar October 8 news Saudi consortium into Newcastle after the spark of public discussion, and today the "Mirror" reviewed the mansour group after the entry of Manchester City reinforcements, may have a certain reference for Newcastle.

In his first season at Manchester City, Mansour spent £82.5 million on signings, of which £32.5 million went to sign Robinho. The Brazilian joined City on the closing date of the transfer window, which also means that City are very keen to be one of the best teams in the world, but Robinho has not done well in his 41 league games. After being loaned to Santos, Robinho moved to AC Milan.

Nigel De Jong was a successful signing for Mark Hughes, and as City progressed in the table, City signed the Dutchman to solidify the midfield and help city win the Premier League title in 2012. De Jong made 104 league appearances in three years at Manchester City, scoring just one goal before also moving to AC Milan.

Another accomplished signing was Bellamy, who signed Bellamy from West Ham for £14m after failing to sign Kaka that summer, which was a big difference. Bellamy made 40 league appearances and scored 12 goals in his two seasons with City, although injuries prevented him from playing a bigger role at City and injuries were a shadow of his football career.

Bridge was another signing they signed that summer, and while he didn't shine in the league, he was a reliable defender. City signed the England defender from Chelsea for £12m, having been a first-team main in the club's first two seasons before being replaced by Kolarov and Clichy.

Amid their summer spending, City brought in two goalkeepers, Givon and Nelson. Givon was eventually replaced by Joe Hart, but he made 50 appearances for the club, and Mancini once labeled him "one of the best goalkeepers in the world". As for Nelson, in the match against Arsenal, Givin went off with an injury, and Nelson played only 17 minutes in the Premier League. Although his impact on Manchester City was minimal, Nelson made history and he was the first Faroe Islands player ever to play in England's top flight.

Of all these signings, only a few are worth it. While these bosses can burn a lot of money, they need to make sure they can improve their squad or they'll give up bringing in other players because of financial fair play regulations. Newcastle's budget is reportedly well over £200 million, which puts them in a huge strong position, but if used unwisely, they could take longer to reach where they want to be.
