Suzhou Canglang Pavilion (2)

何绍基

Wind Fence Flute; Flowing water is the harp.

This union vividly depicts the quiet environment in the Canglang Pavilion. Conceived with a strange idea, it compares the bamboo swaying in the wind to a flute, and the flowing water to a violin. The descriptions of "wind fence", "flowing water", "flute" and "sound qin" give readers an elegant and ancient aesthetic taste. And the words and sentences are very concise and imaginative.
