Frostpunk 2, an urban survival game developed and published by 11-bit Studios, will launch on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG) on September 20, 2024, with PC Game Pass and Xbox support for Chinese Simplified at a later date. The game's release date was delayed by about two months from the original plan of July 25, and the development team wanted to have more time to polish the game.
Although the game was postponed, Sapphire launched a customized version of "Frostpunk 2" as scheduled, with the model "PURE Radeon RX 7700 XT Frostpunk 2 Edition", and landed on the e-commerce platform, showing a price of 449.99 US dollars (about 3269.72 yuan).
The card is based on the white Polar Edition, with a snow-white color scheme on the front, a black metal backplate with rusty spots on the face, and ARGB lights (orange by default) on the sides, echoing the theme of Frostpunk 2 and presenting a unique style of the game.
The packaging of the PURE Radeon RX 7700 XT Frostpunk 2 Edition is also designed in the style of Frostpunk 2, and it also comes with the Frostpunk 2 product pack, which provides a code for the Deluxe Edition, as well as three custom keycaps and three enamel pins as collectibles.
The overall dimensions of the PURE Radeon RX 7700 XT Frostpunk 2 Edition are 320 x 128.75 x 52.57 mm, about 2.5 slots thick, equipped with a three-fan cooling system and dual 8-pin power supply ports, and the power consumption of the whole card is 240W. It has factory overclocked settings with a boost clock of 2584 MHz and a gaming clock of 2226 MHz. In terms of display output, it is equipped with two HDMI 2.1 ports and two DisplayPort 2.1 ports.
