Tape Collection of Jay Chou's "Seven LiXiang"

On August 3, 2004, Shinso Music was released

Jay Chou was confident in the music of the album and hoped that the audience would focus on the music, so he positioned the album as a return to the purity of music, and used the title song "Qilixiang" as the title of the album.

Jay Chou arranged the composition of all the songs on the album, Fang Wenshan composed the lyrics of half of the songs of the entire album, and the lyrics of the remaining songs were composed by Huang Junlang, Song Jianzhang, Liu Qihong and Jay Chou. In addition to the songwriters who are Jay Chou's side, the musicians involved in the production of this album are also Partners of Jay Chou, including producer Zhong Zuohong and recording engineer Yang Ruidai, who are all members of the "Southern Fist Mother" group.

Jay Chou positions himself as a storyteller on the album and presents his story and imaginary pictures to the audience through music. The song "Qilixiang" was inspired by Xi Murong's poems, which was also the first time Jay Chou composed music for poetry. "Grandma" is a song created by Jay Chou with the theme of caring for the elderly, and Jay Chou also borrowed the title to play when composing the song, expressing his dissatisfaction with some award ceremonies. The inspiration for the creation of "Dancing Spring and Autumn" comes from the historical events of the Three Kingdoms at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty.

The production team wanted the album cover to be filmed in a place full of life and not too flashy. After selection, the production team chose Vladivostok as the filming location for the album cover. While filming the album cover, Jay Chou put on a military uniform. In order to match the shooting atmosphere, there was also a little Russian girl standing in front of Jay Chou.
