Yunnan Netnews (Reporter Lou Ying) On February 22, WBC (World Boxing Council) Chairman Suleiman accepted the application submitted by WBC China to approve and appoint two former world boxing kings Xiong Chaozhong and Wang Yanan as WBC World Boxing Ambassadors in China.

Xiong Chaozhong began to learn boxing in 2006 and began to participate in professional boxing competitions. On November 24, 2012, Xiong Chaozhong defeated Mexican Javier Martinez in the WBC Mini Lightweight World Boxing Championships held in Kunming to win the WBC Mini Lightweight World Champion Gold Belt, becoming China's first world professional boxer. On June 29, 2013, Xiong Chaozhong defeated philippine Player Queirot in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, successfully defending the title of WBC Mini Lightweight World Boxing Champion. At the same time, Xiong Chaozhong won the World Boxing Council (WBC) Best Boxer Award twice in 2012 and 2013.
