On July 3, local time, the first phase of the centennial salt lake lithium extraction project jointly developed by Tsingshan and the French Eramet Group in Salta Province, Argentina, held a commissioning ceremony.
In the more than two years since the resumption of construction of the project in early 2022, the Tsingshan South American team has overcome various difficulties in a completely different policy, cultural and linguistic environment, and has been deeply involved in various fields of project development, with more than 10 Chinese employees of the on-site construction team taking root on the front line of the 3,800-meter plateau, and working hard together with thousands of local workers to promote the better and faster construction of the project, so that the spirit of Tsingshan has also been continued and perfectly embodied in Argentina, the farthest country from China.
At the launching ceremony, Xiang Jinyu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tsingshan Industrial, delivered a speech, congratulating the launch of the first phase of the Centennial Salt Lake Lithium Extraction Project, and expressing Tsingshan's determination to actively participate in the new energy industry, and will continue to make Tsingshan's own contribution to building a cleaner and more sustainable green future.
