Huang Zihong
Li Ping is a character in Jin Yong's famous book "The Legend of the Archery Hero". She is Guo Xiaotian's wife and Guo Jing's mother.
Although Li Ping is only a village woman, she has a stoic personality and is as righteous as her husband.
Li Ping and the Seven Monsters of Jiangnan were the people who had the greatest influence on Guo Jing, and Li Ping's teachings enabled Guo Jing to develop the nature of a "chivalrous great" who was hospitable, righteous, thin and loyal to the country, and Li Ping was one of the few excellent mothers in Jin Yong's novels.
Guo Jing's concept of justice and morality and the spirit of traditional chivalry have been educated from childhood to adulthood, and many of Guo Jing's strong beliefs have also been instilled by her.
Time goes back many years, Guo Xiaotian and Yang Tiexin of Niujia Village in Jiangnan are brothers, and their wives Li Ping and Bao Xiweak weave at home with men and women, and they are happy and harmonious.
Coincidentally, Li Ping and Bao Xiweak became pregnant almost at the same time, and both families were very happy and decided: if they were both boys or girls, they would marry as brothers and sisters; if a man and a woman, they would be married.
Because of an accident, the Pingshui encounter caused the Prince of Jin, who had made a private visit to Weifu but fell into a trap, Yan Honglie, fell in love with Guo Xiaotian's brother Yang Tiexin's wife Bao Xiweak.
In order to achieve the goal of hegemony and the weakness of Bao, Yan Honglie did not hesitate to use conspiracy and trickery, cleverly set up a name, and colluded with the Officials of the Song Dynasty to let Duan Tiande go to Niujia Village to arrest Guo Xiaotian and Yang Tiexin on trumped-up charges.
After a very fierce battle, Yang Tiexin's whereabouts are unknown, and Guo Xiaotian is killed in the line of duty.
After Guo Xiaotian's death, in order to protect the children in his womb, Li Ping stubbornly fought with Duan Tiande many times, and finally took the opportunity to flee in Mongolia, giving birth to his son Guo Jing in the snow and wind, and living in the desert for twenty years.
Many years later, Genghis Khan threatened Guo Jing with Li Ping's life to march south to the Song Dynasty, and Guo Jing wanted to obey for the sake of filial piety and protection of his mother, but Li Ping used his death to teach his son to fulfill his son's loyalty.
Before Li Ping died, she instructed Guo Jing: "A hundred years of life, in the blink of an eye, what is the big deal about life and death?" As long as you have a clear conscience in your life, you will not be in vain in the world. If someone else has failed us, we don't have to think of him as evil. Remember my words. Then, Yin Yin ding: "Child, you take good care of yourself." Then he stabbed himself to death with Guo Jing's dagger. Guo Jing was so sad and indignant that he carried his mother's body and broke out of Mongolia alone.
Li Ping's death had a major impact on Guo Jing, causing Guo Jing to completely break with the Mongols, and also indirectly ending Guo Jing's marriage contract with Princess Hua Zheng, and Guo Jing was bent on defending the Great Song Dynasty from then on.
