The White Midnight Sun necklace is the centerpiece of this exceptional jewelry set, which is set in the snowflake style of more than 2,400 carefully arranged diamonds. A 3.55-carat pear-shaped diamond accentuates the centre, while a delicate yellow gold bezel gives it a sparkling halo, while the pure and flawless diamond reveals subtle color changes in sunlight. The White Midnight Sun set showcases Messika's craftsmanship and perfect control of light and volume. Valérie Messika also combines avant-garde design concepts with sculptural ear clips to add a touch of sparkle to this luxurious jewelry set.
This semi-rigid necklace of extraordinary volume showcases the amazing craftsmanship of the chain links, where each element joins together to create a subtle trompe l'oeil effect, enhanced by the snowflake setting. This bold masterpiece took nearly 300 hours to complete.

On a celebratory night of starry stars, the moon hangs high in the middle of the night sky, and this captivating emerald-cut puzzle diamond is the embodiment of it. Two gold threads converge on both sides of the necklace and entangle around the center, holding up this sparkling gem. The sculptural signet ring is also set with a striking emerald-cut diamond.
The set took nearly 400 hours to set and the necklace alone was created with more than 700 diamonds of exceptional brilliance and clarity set in snowflake, a feat in the world of fine jewelry. Each diamond is hand-hollowed out on the back of the necklace to maximize the effect of light passing through the stone. The exceptional level of craftsmanship is also reflected in the assembly and cutting of the diamond puzzles for necklaces and rings.

The infinite rhythm plays with contrasting effects, like the change of light and shadow on the dance floor. Valérie Messika creates a capsule of light, with a dazzling round oval shape that spreads over the entire jewelry shape and unfolds in a dazzling rhythm. To make the night even more dazzling, Valérie opted for the extravagant diamond setting. As a result, diamonds are set not only on the front of the jewelry, but also on the sides and back, allowing them to be admired from all angles with their multiple sparkles.

How did you meet Valérie Messika? When did your collaboration begin?
Natalia Vodianova (N.V.): I met Valérie because we both have siblings with autism. About 10 years ago, Valérie and her husband, Jean-Baptiste, visited the Naked Heart Foundation's projects and learned first-hand about the work we do for children with autism and their families, for which I am grateful. Since then, we have become friends and respect each other.
What impressed you most about Valérie Messika? Is her charisma or career achievement?
N.V.: Valérie is a talented creator with strong personal values – and the Messika brand is a reflection of who she is.
Please describe the atmosphere or mood of this shoot in a few words.
N.V.: It was a great pleasure to shoot and I finally had the opportunity to see Valérie at work. She is meticulous in every detail and knows exactly what she wants, while at the same time getting the most out of every member of the team.
Which piece from the 2024 collection impresses you the most?
N.V.: What struck me the most about Lunar Diva is the huge diamond in the center of the necklace, like a beautiful diamond puzzle.
Which piece would you most like to take with you?
N.V.: Every single one, of course!

How did you meet Valérie Messika? When did your collaboration begin?
Lucien Laviscount (L.L.) : I recently met Valérie at the Cannes Film Festival, and after a conversation, we quickly discovered what we had in common: a deep respect for art and creativity. It's a great honor to be invited to work with such a modern and cool brand.
What impressed you most about Valérie Messika? Is her charisma or career achievement?
L.L.: Valérie was a visionary and had a keen eye for detail. Her career has been inspiring. Her passion for diamonds and innovative design ideas have made her an iconic figure in the world of jewelry.
Please describe the atmosphere or mood of this shoot in a few words.
L.L.: Being part of the whole shoot made me feel like I was part of the family. As soon as I arrived at the studio that day, everyone sang a birthday song for me and prepared a cake. The filming location was the same as the set of the TV series "Emily in Paris", which made me feel at home. Valérie's entire creative team was amazing and a pleasure to work with.
Which piece from the 2024 collection impresses you the most? Which one would you most like to take with you?
L.L.: The new collection is really special. Every piece in the Midnight Sun High Jewelry collection is a work of art. If I could take one piece away, I would definitely choose the Groove necklace, which perfectly embodies the charm and sophistication of this collection.
What does jewellery and fashion mean to you?
L.L.: Fashion is a platform for self-expression, to be bold and uninhibited. Jewelry plays a vital role in this process, acting like a melody note, adding luxury and personality to the overall look.
