The teaching profession has different roles in different historical periods. In ancient times on the mainland, teachers were regarded as preachers, teachers, and puzzlers. In modern times, with the opening of the Industrial Revolution, teachers have gained an independent professional identity and have begun to devote themselves to teaching specific subjects. At present, with the scale and standardization of education, as well as the gradual popularization and application of new technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data, education is very likely to usher in a new situation of "human-computer co-teaching", and the positioning of teachers will inevitably usher in new opportunities and challenges. In the new era, advocating to be a good Mr. Big and how to become a Big Man, I think at least the following six positions should be clarified:

First, we must become a leader in the all-round development of students. The fundamental task of teachers is to teach and educate people, teaching is the means, and educating people is the goal. Teachers should not only pay attention to students' knowledge learning, but also pay attention to cultivating students' morality, emotion, practical ability and innovation consciousness, and attach great importance to some important factors that affect students' long-term development, such as students' emotions, habits, qualities, and three views. No matter how AI develops, the role of teachers in this area will be difficult to replace, and may be further highlighted. Excellent teachers will devote themselves to connecting with students, leading students to overcome growth difficulties, and promoting the all-round development of students' moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor skills.

Second, they should become the designers, organizers, and managers of educational activities. As teachers, we should fully grasp the tasks of education and teaching, teaching materials, students' physical and mental characteristics, and other elements, and carefully design education and teaching activities. In particular, we should dare to design teaching content based on real problems, create different learning situations, and adopt inquiry-based and project-based methods to create more practical and practical opportunities for students. In the allocation of education and teaching resources and the development of teaching activities, it is necessary to do a good job in specific organization and implementation, lead and guide students to make full use of resources, allocate time reasonably, strengthen cooperation and exchanges, and develop and improve together. At the same time, teachers should also fulfill the responsibilities of managers through the regulation of key elements of education and teaching, including classroom management and coordination of teacher-student relationships.

Third, we must become a companion for the healthy growth of students. As a teacher, you should always pay attention to the physical and mental health of students, listen to students' voices, understand students' needs in a timely manner, and provide necessary support and assistance to students. It is necessary to learn to take the initiative to integrate into the student body, establish a more equal and harmonious teacher-student relationship with students, keep abreast of various dynamics of students, and provide care and guidance. In the future era of artificial intelligence, teachers are not necessarily omniscient knowledge authorities, but they must be loving companions, who can help students achieve healthy growth by nurturing love and affection with love.

Fourth, we must become promoters and practitioners of educational reform. Some teachers do not care about educational reform, like to stick to tradition, and are willing to be bystanders of reform. Some teachers are not concerned about educational reform, but just passively respond and be at ease with what happens. What I want to say is that the times are different, and it is no longer possible to still concentrate on teaching based on old experience and relying on "eating the old book" to hold the podium. As teachers must actively participate in educational reform, learn new educational concepts and methods, constantly explore teaching methods and means suitable for current students, and promote innovation and practice in education and teaching. Otherwise, it is very likely that the "golden period" of the career will end prematurely, which is not alarmist.

Fifth, become a learner and researcher of professional development. In the past, teachers, as elders, knew more and more than young people through learning and accumulated experience. Today, young people may know earlier, faster, and more comprehensively than their elders, through the Internet or other technological means. In the era of knowledge expansion, the object of education is the future of the country and the nation, as a teacher, we must continue to self-study, self-development, self-improvement, self-improvement, and constantly update our knowledge structure and spiritual realm, so as to meet the overall development needs of current students, in order to better fulfill the sacred duty of teaching and educating people.

Sixth, we must become the inheritors of social civilization. Teachers and education are related to the great cause of national prosperity and the well-being of the world. It is precisely through the passing of the torch from generation to generation by countless teachers that the outstanding achievements of human civilization and noble moral qualities have been passed on to generations of students, so that the nation and mankind will have a better future. As teachers in the new era, we should consciously undertake the mission of inheriting and developing social civilization, pay attention to cultivating students' cultural literacy and humanistic spirit, and actively promote the development and progress of social civilization. This is also the unshirkable responsibility of the teacher!

To sum up, in order to transform into Mr. Big, teachers in the new era must become teachers with comprehensive quality, continuous learning and inquiry, and conform to the trend of the times, so as to cultivate new talents of the times.
