Labor disputes are complex and specialized, if you face a group labor dispute of 30 people, what kind of scene should it be? It's tricky to think about. Recently, the Haicheng City People's Court has accepted a number of labor dispute cases involving enterprises, and the confrontation between the plaintiff and the defendant is serious. Finally, under the efficient and professional mediation of Judge Wang Di of the labor dispute team, it took less than 15 days from the filing of the case to the conclusion of mediation, and the labor dispute owed by the defendant company to more than 30 workers was successfully resolved.
More than 30 workers including Xing were originally employees of a property limited company, mainly engaged in security and cleaning work, and no labor contract was signed between the two parties, but from February 2024, the company began to owe wages to more than 30 workers including Xing, until April 2024, when more than 30 workers including Xing left the defendant company, the arrears of wages had not been paid, so more than 30 workers including Xing sued the court on the grounds of arrears of labor remuneration and requested the court to deal with it in accordance with the law.
After learning about the facts of the case, Judge Wang Di found that the main reason for the intensification of the conflict between the plaintiff and the defendant was that there was a disagreement between the two parties on when to pay the arrears of wages. Considering the current tense economic situation and the great pressure on the survival of enterprises, Judge Wang Di believed that the case could not be handled mechanically, and the judgment was made. In line with the principle of caring for the survival and development of the enterprise, Judge Wang Di actively organized the two parties to conduct many mediations, carefully inquired about the ideas and demands of both parties in the mediation, and put forward a practical mediation plan while explaining the law and eliminating misunderstandings. In the "back-to-back" patient mediation, Judge Wang Di persuaded more than 30 workers to accept mediation, and the workers also made concessions and gave the defendant company a certain grace period. On the sixth day after the case was filed, Judge Wang Di and the court staff waited at the agreed place at 7 a.m. due to the consideration of the working hours of more than 30 workers including Xing, and finally the two parties reached a mediation agreement to postpone the payment of wages, and the case was satisfactorily resolved.
In recent years, with the rapid development of the economy and the continuous enhancement of workers' awareness of workers' rights, the number of labor disputes in the jurisdiction has increased year by year. In the next step, Haicheng Court will take "active performance of duties, professional trial, adjudication and trial docking, and diversified solutions" as the starting point to resolve labor disputes more conveniently, efficiently and substantively, and earnestly plan to build harmonious labor relations in the jurisdiction, so as to create a good employment atmosphere for the jurisdiction.
