On the morning of June 24th, the 21st Overseas Friendship Seminar of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, co-sponsored by the Youth Committee of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and the Jiangsu Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and undertaken by Nanjing University, and the 6th Overseas Chinese Leaders Seminar of the Jiangsu Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, was officially opened at Nanjing University. A total of 47 overseas Chinese leaders and representatives of the new generation of Chinese from 31 countries on five continents participated in the training, including Guo Zhihong, who is the representative of overseas Chinese in central Japan and is in charge of the Nagoya China Aid Center Cultural and Education Fund team.

Liu Biao, chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Overseas Chinese, introduced the economic, cultural and social development of Jiangsu, as well as the situation of overseas Chinese in Jiangsu and the work of the Federation of Overseas Chinese, and hoped that overseas Chinese leaders would "further understand Jiangsu, praise Jiangsu, and create more beautiful two-way travel".

Yang Zhong, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nanjing University, introduced the historical evolution and development of Nanjing University, welcomed the arrival of overseas students and hoped that they would "win greater development and make greater contributions in the process of comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese-style modernization".

Li Fayong, second-level inspector of the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Overseas Chinese, and Li Yuehua, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Party Committee of Nanjing University, attended the opening ceremony and visited overseas Chinese leaders. Han Shunping, Dean of the School of Lifelong Education of Nanjing University, presided over the opening ceremony.

The three-day workshop was serious, pragmatic, honest and truth-seeking. The content of the discussion focused on the domestic and international situation, looked forward to the future development of overseas Chinese affairs, and triggered deep reflection and heated discussions among overseas Chinese leaders.

Professor Yang Decai from the Business School of Nanjing University gave an in-depth analysis of China's economic development trends and challenges facing the international economy with the theme of "Macroeconomic Situation Analysis". Focusing on the topic of "Overseas Chinese Love and Telling Chinese Stories to the World under the Century-old Changes", Zhu Liu introduced the responsibilities and ideas of overseas Chinese under the great changes unseen in a century; Professor Li Yonggang of the School of Government of Nanjing University explained the innovation policies, support measures and application prospects of "focusing on new quality productivity" in simple terms through case analysis. Professor Cheng Hanping from the School of International Relations of Nanjing University provided a reference on "The Current International Situation and How to Enhance the Image and Influence of Mainland Countries". Professor Wang Chongjun from the Department of Computer Science and Technology of Nanjing University gave a lecture on "Scientific and Technological Innovation and Case Analysis in the Context of Economic Globalization" for overseas students. Professor Xu Jie of the School of Liberal Arts of Nanjing University sorted out the differences between Eastern and Western cultural systems on the topic of "Traditional Classics and Cultural Confidence".

On the afternoon of June 26, the workshop was successfully completed. At the graduation ceremony, Vice Minister Zhu Liu put forward three major hopes to the overseas Chinese leaders who participated in the study: "keep in mind the feelings of the family and country, firmly pursue the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation", "tell China's story well to the outside world, and be a non-governmental messenger to communicate between China and the world", "lead the construction of a harmonious overseas Chinese community, and be a good example of the good image of overseas Chinese in a big country".

Chairman Liu Biao put forward the message of "always maintaining the feelings of Sangzi", "always maintaining the spirit of struggle" and "always maintaining the sense of unity". Jiao Ruihua, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, head of the Organization Department and head of the United Front Work Department of Nanjing University, attended and delivered a speech, and Dean Han Shunping and overseas Chinese leaders who participated in the training attended the meeting. The closing ceremony was presided over by Li Fayong, the second-level inspector of the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Overseas Chinese. After the graduation ceremony, led by Chen Feng, vice chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the seminar went to Changzhou City and Liyang City to carry out on-site teaching and hometown trips of overseas Chinese.

Guo Zhihong, who had just returned to Japan from the seminar, was interviewed by the "Overseas Chinese Daily in Japan".
