Box of light
The entire house renovation and extension project takes advantage of the rhythm of the traditional canopy on the existing roof, and externally, the rear extension is an assemblage of stacked luminous boxes, reminiscent of a "sky lantern" floating in the air at night. Inside, the "sky lanterns" form new massing connections while bringing diffused natural light deep into the plane.
