So I hurried home, eager to open the book and read it.
On the way home, I met several acquaintances mostly after 80 and 90, and when I saw that I was holding a thick book in my hand, I had to look at it, and when I saw that the title of the book was "Shangliang Middle School", I asked incomprehensibly: "Where is Shangliang Middle School?" ”
Indeed, Shangliang Middle School has become a historical term, just like the place of Shangliang forever disappeared in the long river of history, many 80, 90s do not know that place, for me after 70 is only due to work reasons to go to that Shangliang and that Shangliang Middle School, I know two or three principals, a few teachers only, but this thick "Shangliang Middle School" let me re-enter the Shangliang Middle School, know the history of those dusty, little-known Shangliang Middle School, It also made me have a different understanding of that land and the people in that land.

Of course, such taboos are obviously absent now, but modern people cultivate many genealogies, and folk spontaneous cultivation of a school and a place are rarely seen, so "Shangliang Middle School", a book of school history significance, is even more distinctive.
Of course, this book can not be strictly called school history, it contains three parts; one is The Small Zhi of Shangliang Middle School, the second is "a successful example in the history of primary education", the third is me and Shangliang Middle School, the first part can be roughly counted as a regular school history, but due to the lack of support from official data archives, most of the sources come from alumni, old, and classmates' personal memories, with a lot of one-sidedness and uncertainty, rigor and reliability are not enough, can not be called strict sense of the school history, so the editor also called himself "Xiao Zhi", The second part, "A Successful Example in the History of Elementary Education", can probably be counted as a somewhat academic paper by Mr. Li Laishe! It can also be regarded as a little theoretical summary and spiritual sublimation of the short history of Shangliang Middle School! As a former Shangliang Middle School person is understandable, as an example of primary education is a bit elevated, but as a summary of the experience of rural education is still meaningful. The third part is the reminiscences of some alumni and relevant people of Shangliang Middle School, and the previous "Xiaozhi" confirms that it is still very interesting to read.

My biggest interest before turning this book was who had been out of Shangliang Middle School? After turning over this book, the group of "old Shangliang people" of Shangliang Middle School was printed from the book to my mind, and I was very emotional, and there were so many vivid, interesting, and enthusiastic people who came out of that barren land, which surprised me and was very moved.

But what I feel most is that I don't know the three early foreign teachers of Shangliang Middle School, these three people are Xu Binglong, Liang Hai, Yu Kaiyan teacher, due to age reasons, I have never met these three teachers, but from this book to learn their story of Shangliang Middle School, it is very touching, I just worked from some colleagues often from some colleagues about the legendary stories of some foreign teachers in Lund education at that time, and their contributions to Lund education, but I rarely communicate with them. So I am very interested in their stories, I have always wanted to write their stories, but I have not had any information at hand, I have not written them, this time from the book "Shangliang Middle School" finally know the story of the three of them, I think in the most arduous Shangliang can stay for more than ten years, the three of them can best represent the group of foreign teachers who have contributed their youth in Lund education!
Teacher Liang Hai is the initiator of this "Shangliang Middle School", according to the book, it is precisely because Zhao Zhongxiao, Li Laiyu and other students visited Teacher Liang and triggered the original intention of writing a book about Shangliang Middle School, so after more than four years of finally having this book, it can be seen that Teacher Liang Hai's prestige and appeal among the students of Shangliang Middle School, at the same time, it can be seen from the book that Teacher Liang also wrote a lot of reminiscences, and it can be seen that he has a strong feeling for the difficult years of Shangliang Middle School. Such feelings collided with students who also have feelings to produce a spark, I did not carefully read Teacher Liang's reminiscences, just a rough look, but I think that in all the memories of the articles, Teacher Liang is the clearest memory, many details are together, which and the memory of an old man who is nearly eighty years old does not seem to be very much in tune, but this reflects from the side of his deep feelings for that period of time.
It is true that a college student from Sichuan District came to Shangliang in 70 years, such a place that was backward in Lund, and stayed for more than ten years, which is indeed unimaginable, I graduated in 1992 and was assigned to the Good Water Middle School on the edge of the county town, almost unable to persist, but Teacher Liang stayed for more than ten years, from his reminiscences and articles did not feel a hard memory, and all of them were interesting and bitter life fun, hunting, literary and artistic activities, playing basketball, as if the place where he worked was not Shangliang but the city. It is this optimistic ideal that has enabled him to take root in Shangliang Middle School and cultivate a group of well-known students, which is the greatest wealth of Teacher Liang.
Of course, Mr. Xu Binglong is also the teacher mentioned the most in the students' reminiscence articles, his solid teaching, and profound knowledge have influenced a generation of students in Shangliang Middle School, and later he went to Lund Middle School as the head of the teaching and research team, and cultivated a large number of talents for Lund.
Just like Lu Shikun, who founded Fengtai Academy more than a hundred years ago, Teacher Yu Kaiyan is also from Hunan, Hunan people have a fierce spirit, graduated from Central China Normal University Hunan Changde teacher Yu came to Shangliang, first of all to overcome the unaccustomed life, which is more difficult than the teacher from Yinchuan, far away from the homeland, far away from relatives, overcome the suffering of water and soil, language, this kind of suffering we can imagine, but Teacher Yu has insisted on more than ten years, becoming one of the most popular teachers among students, this is indeed not easy, unfortunately Teacher Yu died young, There is an article in the book where Teacher Yu's son revisited the old land after many years, and the children of Teacher Yu, who are also teachers, are full of emotions in the face of the place where their father once spilled the sweat of youth.
I am very grateful to the book "Shangliang Middle School" for making me realize that I have always wanted to write about the teachers who have contributed their youth to Lund education in the 60s and 70s, and from the experience of these three foreign teachers of Shangliang Middle School, we can see the dedication and contribution of that group of people, let me say "thank you" to them here and pay tribute to them!
It is precisely with such a group of good teachers that a large number of good students of Shangliang Middle School have been trained, and it is precisely with these students that the advent of today's "Shangliang Middle School" has come out, although Shangliang Middle School is no longer there, Shangliang Middle School has long been abolished, but they have left a copy of "Shangliang Middle School" enough for their descendants to know the place where their parents once paid.
Among these students, there are two most famous, one is Zhao Zhongxiao, one is Li Laiyu, Teacher Zhao I know, when I first started working, he was the principal of Shanhe Middle School, he did a good job, and then transferred to the newly established Longhu Middle School as the principal, he also worked well, and later became the deputy director of education in Dawukou District, but I did not have much intersection, I just got from my teacher He Hongliang, the principal of Guoshanhe Middle School, and some of his colleagues later became colleagues with me, and some of his stories and experiences were known in my mouth. It should be said that he was one of the well-known figures in lund's education system at that time, and his ability and character teacher reputation were very good, which may be related to his experience in Liang Middle School and that group of people.
Li Laiyu's predecessorS have never been seen before, and I have never heard of it, but this time I learned from his sister Teacher Li Yinbang, which aroused my interest in the book of Shangliang Middle School, I do not know Teacher Li, but I have a little understanding of some of his articles in the book "Shangliang Middle School", the longest length in this book, the most memorable is Teacher Li's article, whether it is a theoretical summary of Shangliang Middle School "A successful example in the history of primary education" and a reminiscence article of personal experience" My reading years" have fully expressed his feelings for Shangliang Middle School, this feeling is not only reflected in the article, but more importantly, as an associate editor, he has poured a lot of effort and dedication into this book, as a successful person, and has settled overseas, he does not seek fame, not to make profits, completely relying on his feelings for Shangliang Middle School in doing this, it is indeed rare, from the "story of the editorial department" in the book, a lot of things he and his classmates discussed and compiled, I know, to edit and publish such a heavy book, It's hard not to put in a lot of effort and time and money, but they did it, and we knew the difficulty of doing it from the fact that our high school reunions couldn't be held.
Reading this book, I found a few very interesting points, one is that this book is very rigorous, can be compared to a regular history, and the other is that all Teacher Li's articles are marked with provenance and examples, which is obviously a requirement for writing papers, which is probably the same as Teacher Li has always been engaged in science and financial analysis of professional characteristics! But this reflects the rigorous attitude of the book and adds a lot to the book. Of course, this book also has a valuable point, most of the general school history and the like are famous alumni, or famous teacher articles or as a focus on prominent positions, but this "Shangliang Middle School" put a large number of memories of alumni who did not go to school, did not have jobs, and ordinary alumni in the book, which also reflects the spirit of the old Shangliang Middle School.
In fact, I was initially curious about Teacher Li's admission to the University of Science and Technology of China, studying abroad, and settling down to be able to come out of Shangliang Middle School, and finally learned about Teacher Li's personality from the book, this curiosity was gone, because I already understood that the experience of compiling this book was enough to prove how much the experience of Shangliang Middle School played a role in changing their lives and shaping their personality.
As a person who has nothing to do with Shangliang Middle School, so sensational about the book "Shangliang Middle School" wrote so many words, is not a little pretentious, but also a little sentimental, in fact, I and Shangliang Middle School do not have any intersection, and those people have never met, nor have they got a little sponsorship, the only benefit is to get a book for free.
But I was really moved by the story of this book, that place, and those people, because I think there are many places like Shangliang in Lund, and there are many schools like Shangliang Middle School, Yanggou, Chong'an, Shanhe, and the dozen or so rural middle schools that have disappeared, but there has never been a middle school where people are as united, affectionate, and as representative as Shangliang Middle School, and they have published a book called "Shangliang Middle School" to tell their stories, but more schools in the ravine have their same stories.
When one day we want to write "Lund Education History" and "Lund Middle School History", this "Shangliang Middle School" will be taken out, and we will see those who have worked hard to contribute their youth to the hot land of Lund and the cause of Lund education.
