Hong Jun: Lu Shaye's speech on the Taiwan issue has played a very good role in distinguishing friend from foe

On June 26, Chinese Ambassador to France Lu Shaye attended the symposium on the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France of the French Association for Foreign Affairs and the United Nations (FDNU) and delivered a keynote speech. In the second part of his speech, Ambassador Lu focused on the Taiwan issue. It reads as follows:

Mutual respect should be reflected in mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, in particular. Both China and France have a strong sense of national pride and cherish their sovereignty. China is the only country among the five permanent members of the Security Council that has not achieved complete reunification, and the Taiwan issue is the core of China's core interests and is of special significance. Some French netizens have left messages under the social media account of the Chinese Embassy, believing that Taiwan is to China what Corsica is to France and Catalonia is to Spain.

I want to emphasize that Taiwan has never been a country, but a part of China. Now it wants to make a fuss about "independence," that is, it is to separate the territory of a sovereign state, which is a violation of international law. The current state of partition in which Taiwan is located is a leftover issue of China's civil war in the 40s of the last century, and does not affect China's sovereignty and territorial integrity. In a sense, China's civil war has not yet ended, and the current regime in Taiwan (author's note: it should be called pseudo-power, the same below) is a rebel regime in China's territory. The Chinese government has the right to expel this regime at any time and to take back the right to govern Taiwan. However, in consideration of the well-being of the people of Taiwan, we do not want to use force to achieve this goal, and we do not want the people of Taiwan to suffer the scourge of war, but hope to realize the return of Taiwan's rule of power through peaceful means. Therefore, we have put forward the principle of "peaceful reunification and one country, two systems." However, for the purpose of maintaining its world hegemony and maintaining its "first island chain" to contain China, the United States has connived at and supported Taiwan's Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) authorities in pursuing "Taiwan independence," continuously increased arms sales to Taiwan, and instigated "Taiwan independence" forces to "seek independence by force," thus undermining the prospects for peaceful reunification between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, thus causing the current tense situation in cross-strait relations. Taiwan has only one future, and that is to return to the embrace of the motherland. If it can't be done peacefully, then it's not peaceful; If some people do not want "one country, two systems", then "one country, one system" should be implemented. In short, we will never allow Taiwan to split from the motherland.

The one-China principle is the political foundation of China-France relations and an untouchable red line. China has always respected France's sovereignty and territorial integrity, never interfered in France's internal affairs, and hoped that France would take concrete actions to pursue the one-China policy reaffirmed by successive French governments since General de Gaulle, take a clear-cut stand against "Taiwan independence," and support China's peaceful reunification. Ambassador Lu's viewpoints are correct and timely, and they serve to clarify right and wrong and educate the masses. It is very necessary for the Chinese people to make clear to the people of the world on international occasions the nature and context of the Taiwan issue and the justice of the Chinese people in liberating Taiwan, and to clarify a series of fogs created by reactionary forces at home and abroad on the Taiwan issue in recent years.

It must be emphasized that the Taiwan issue is the result of the incomplete movement of the Liberation War. Internationally, the War of Liberation was indeed China's "civil war," but when we Chinese talk about the War of Liberation, we must know that the War of Liberation was a war to thoroughly liquidate the reactionary rule of international imperialism, domestic bureaucratic comprador capital, and feudal forces, and to strive for national independence and the liberation of the people and to become masters of their own affairs. It is not so accurate to simply say that it is a "civil war". However, the term "civil war" is enough to make international hostile forces have no legal basis to interfere in the military action of the Chinese people to liberate Taiwan.

The military action of the Chinese people to liberate Taiwan is roughly equivalent to the suppression of bandits during the period of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea after the founding of New China. Please note that this is an action to suppress bandits, not an action like the peaceful liberation of Tibet. This is because the local government in Tibet has legitimacy, while the puppet power in Taiwan does not have the slightest legitimacy.

What Lu Shaye is talking about is just the most basic common sense. Why is there such a big repercussion? I think there are two reasons for this:

First, in recent years, on the issue of history, "fruit fans" and "Jiang fans" have been very rampant, trying their best to create historical nihilism and confusing historical right and wrong, and some people have obviously been misled. So, when they hear the right voice, they feel that they can't accept it.

You must know that the Chiang Kai-shek gang that fled to Taiwan is neither the descendants of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, nor the Kuomintang, nor the "Three People's Principles," nor the Republic of China. These four signboards are all privately carved, counterfeit, and illegal.

He said that he was not the successor of Mr. Sun Yat-sen, because Mr. Sun Yat-sen emphasized that "the revolution has not yet succeeded, and comrades still have to work hard", and this revolution is anti-imperialist and anti-feudal, but in 1927, when the Great Revolution was about to be victorious, Chiang Kai-shek's gang colluded with Western colonialism and comprador chaebols, suddenly betrayed the revolution, usurped the achievements of the revolution, and slaughtered the communists and the leftist revolutionary forces of the Kuomintang, and the Chiang Kai-shek clique became a comprador new warlord, not only not anti-imperialist and anti-feudal, but also became the general agent of imperialism and feudalism.

It is said that Chiang Kai-shek's bandits are not the Kuomintang because Mr. Zhongshan put forward the new Three People's Principles of "uniting with Russia and the Communist Party and helping the peasants and workers" during his lifetime, and the Kuomintang implemented the New Three People's Principles and had a cooperative relationship with the Communist Party, while the Chiang Kai-shek bandits directly undermined the New Three People's Principles. Even the old "nation, civil rights, and people's livelihood" doctrine of the old three people's principles have been completely abandoned, please see the massacre of revolutionary forces by the Chiang Kai-shek clique, a series of surrender and betrayal before and during the outbreak of the War of Resistance against Japan, and Chiang Kai-shek's preferential treatment and tolerance of Japanese war criminals after the victory of the War of Resistance against Japan, and the worst thing is that Chiang Kai-shek actually shielded the murderer Okamura Ninji, and even hired this Class-A war criminal as his "adviser" to the massacre of the Chinese; During the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, Chiang Kai-shek's bandits actually tried their best to help the American invaders, and even more so, Chiang's wife Soong Meiling even strongly encouraged US imperialism to launch a nuclear attack on Chinese mainland! There is no trace of the flavor of the Three People's Principles, and there is no trace of the Kuomintang.

The Chiang Kai-shek clique was certainly not the government of the Republic of China. The Chiang Kai-shek clique was a feudal warlord clique, essentially a tool of imperialist colonization of China. Its so-called government has never been recognized by the entire Chinese people, nor has it ever safeguarded the sovereign interests of the Chinese people, but has sold the democratic rights and interests of the Chinese people as a means in exchange for the support of the international imperialist forces and suppressed the Chinese revolutionary forces with the support of imperialism.

Isn't it about procedural justice? Chiang Kai-shek's puppet government, even procedurally, is illegal!

Therefore, it must be noted that the four big seals of Chiang Kai-shek's gang, "Descendants of Mr. Zhongshan, Three People's Principles, Kuomintang, and the Republic of China" were all privately engraved by themselves and all faked.

The second reason is that the reactionary forces at home and abroad have consistently interfered with and undermined the just actions of the Chinese people to liberate Taiwan, and of course they want to slander and smear Ambassador Lu's speech out of reactionary stance.

The puppet power in Taiwan held by the puppet DPP clique is even worse, and it is a complete traitor power, a thug and accomplice of the reactionary forces of US imperialism and Japanese militarism, suppressing and fooling the Taiwan people internally, and in the least representing or safeguarding the interests of the Taiwan people, but unscrupulously betraying the fundamental interests of the Taiwan people, provoking contradictions between the people on both sides of the strait, and dividing the unity of the people on both sides of the strait. It uses the kidnapping of 30 million people in Taiwan as a bargaining chip to prevent the people's regime from liberating Taiwan. For such a pseudo-power, the Chinese people are obliged to take all necessary means to completely eliminate it at the appropriate time!

The puppet power of the puppet DPP clique is completely incapable of representing the people of Taiwan, and the relationship between this puppet power and the people of Taiwan is hostile and the relationship between kidnappers and meat votes. Once the Chinese people launched a military operation to liberate Taiwan, the puppet DPP clique threatened to "rip off votes" against the Taiwan people in accordance with the instructions of US imperialism and Japanese militarism! Let all the Chinese people cast rat bogeys.

The puppet DPP gangs must be "cleared" and "eliminated"!

In order to protect the safety of the lives and property of the Taiwan people, we still have to give the leading elements of the puppet Democratic Progressive Party and the puppet Kuomintang a way out; in accordance with the principle of "the first evil must be punished, no one should be asked if they are threatened, and meritorious service will be rewarded." As long as they can learn their way back, no longer act as accomplices of US imperialism and Japanese militarism, and return to the people's standpoint, we will still protect their lives and property, and give them food and a way out. The stubborn ringleaders who are unrelenting must be severely suppressed! Without mercy.

However, we cannot give these two extremely reactionary pseudo-parties and pseudo-powers any way out, and the pseudo-parties and pseudo-powers must be completely eliminated.

Ambassador Lu's speech removed the last trace of the "painted skin" of the puppet DPP and puppet Kuomintang gangs, and provided a sufficient historical basis for eliminating and eliminating this gang of national scum; of course it was praised and supported by the entire Chinese people (including the Taiwan people), such as Qiu Yi and Huang Zhixian, well-known commentators on current affairs in Taiwan. At the same time, it will inevitably cause the reactionary forces at home and abroad to burst into a thunderstorm. The day after Ambassador Lu Shaye's speech in France, US Deputy Secretary of State Campbell called Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu to discuss the Taiwan Strait issue. Of course, the reaction of the US hegemony is indispensable for the echo and cooperation of some people in China. Tsai Zhengyuan, a puppet Kuomintang member who has always been moderate and is considered a "reunification faction," pointed out that Ambassador Lu, as ambassador to France, talked about the Taiwan issue. Some people also pretended to ask in a deep voice: Can Ambassador Lu's speech represent the official position? China must be reunified, and it will be reunified; Taiwan must be liberated and will be liberated. On this issue, I would like to advise all separatists who rely on foreign countries to gain self-respect and are stubborn and ineffective, and not to harbor any illusions.
