The screenshots and videos of "Iron Man", which has been hidden in the snow for 21 years, were released by the developers

An Iron Man game that has been in the dust for 21 years has surfaced. The game was originally developed for Activision by Genepool Software Studios, but ended up being hidden along with the studio for unknown reasons. Kevin Edwards, a retired developer from Genepool Software, recently tweeted details and images of the Iron Man game, which was first revealed. He also shared a nearly one-minute gameplay footage showing some of the action and controls.

Demo Video:

The game is tentatively titled Iron Man and is being developed for "PC, Xbox, and PS2" using a brand new engine. Before Activision decided to abandon the project, the Iron Man game went through almost half a year of development. While Kevin isn't sure exactly why, he thinks the game may have been canceled due to the postponement of the movie that went with it.

Even though we only saw a limited number of footage, the graphics and combat looked pretty good at the level of technology at the time. Many players said they would buy the game at a glance, while others were disappointed that such a promising project was canceled. Kevin also released a new clip showing Iron Man fighting enemies in the canyon. The Iron Man in the game can hover, fly, and use a variety of other skills that we've seen in the movies.

While we may never be able to play this classic game, it's worth mentioning that EA Motive Studios is also working on a triple-A Iron Man game, which is rumored to be an open-world game as well.
