● From June 20th, the Tibetan Planet Astronomy Experience Center, a 4A-level scenic spot located in the National Economic and Technological Development Zone of Lhasa, Tibet, has launched a preferential activity for fresh high school graduates to enjoy free admission with their college entrance examination admission tickets, which will last until August 31.

● The Lhasa Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism launched a special activity - the "Holy Land Lhasa" College Student Travel Lucky Card, which is worth up to 2,000 yuan and is distributed free of charge to full-time college students in mainland China. The campaign will last for 7 months, with 200 lucky cards being given out every month from June to December 2024. Cardholders can enjoy a full range of services in Lhasa, including food, accommodation, transportation, travel, shopping, entertainment, and insurance.

From July to August 2024, with the admission ticket of the 2024 college entrance examination candidates, you can visit the Guge Dynasty Ruins Scenic Area, Xiayigou Scenic Area, Piyang Dongga Scenic Area and Kailash Ma Panyongcuo Scenic Area for free, and enjoy a 20% discount at Himalayan Kailash Hotel and a 7% discount at Star Camp.
In addition, the Guge Dynasty Ruins Scenic Area, Xiayigou Scenic Area and Piyang Dongga Scenic Area also provide free visiting services for the following specific groups of people (excluding small transportation expenses): :(1) Hebei and Tibetan nationals; (2) active duty or retired military personnel; (3) Those who hold the college entrance examination admission ticket from July to August 2024; (4) Holders of press cards.

Under the active coordination of the Motuo County Bureau of Culture and Tourism, at present, AutoNavi Map, Tencent Map and Baidu Map have updated the "double entry and single exit" traffic restriction message and border control certificate prompts, and tourists only need to enter the navigation APP normally to obtain relevant traffic information.

Due to maintenance or special reasons, some scenic spots are currently temporarily closed.
1. Due to the road upgrading and reconstruction construction of Sijin Latso Scenic Area in Mozhugongka County, in order to ensure the safety of tourists, the Sijin Latso Scenic Area will be temporarily closed to the public from May 15 to August 31, 2024.
2. In view of the actual situation of the rhododendron viewing area in Kasimu Village, Nyingchi Town: first, the viewing area is located in the forest area and has not yet become a tourist attraction; second, the current stage is the forest and grassland fire prevention period; Third, the road in the viewing area is narrow, and there are potential road traffic safety hazards due to the inconvenience of wrong cars. From 00:00 on May 6, 2024, the viewing area will be temporarily closed to the public.
3. Due to the road construction in the Nanyigou Scenic Area, there are great road traffic safety hazards. The Milin Scenic Area Administration issued a closure announcement on August 8, 2023.
4. The Ramlatso Scenic Area in Gacha County, Shannan City will be reopened to the public from June 8, 2024, and the daily entry time to the scenic spot will be from 8:00 to 17:00, and the original service management measures of the scenic spot will remain unchanged. Due to the limited capacity of the ecological environment of the wetland park, the maximum daily carrying capacity of the scenic spot is 1,000 people. At the same time, the world's largest thousand-year-old walnut forest, ivory spring and other scenic spots in Gacha County are open to the public for free.

At the same time, due to the weather and road conditions, some roads into Tibet may be temporarily closed or restricted. It is recommended that you check the latest information and be prepared before traveling.
Lhasa-Yangbajing section K3786+070-K3807+000 section (from 8:00 on June 26, 2024 to 20:00 on July 22, 2024). The construction is fully enclosed. During the construction period, all vehicles from the G6 expressway to Yangbajing section are prohibited from passing, and the high-speed entrance from Boma Interchange and Gurong to Yangbajing will be closed, and vehicles will bypass National Highway 109.
