Summer is scorching, and the sun is blazing! On July 3, the staff of State Grid Fuzhou Power Supply Company carried out a "green guardian action" in Jiangyin Port District, Fuqing under the high temperature of 40 °C. They came to Ronggang Wharf, the first zero-emission all-electric terminal in northeastern Fujian Province, to conduct a comprehensive "physical examination" of shore power facilities and power supply equipment here to ensure safe and stable operation under high temperature conditions in summer.

It is reported that Ronggang Terminal is the first zero-emission all-electric terminal officially put into operation in Northeast Fujian. The scale of the terminal is one 50,000-ton container berth and one 70,000-ton container berth, with a designed annual throughput capacity of 900,000 TEUs. The terminal adopts an energy substitution model of "electricity instead of oil", and the 6 quay equipment and 11 yard machinery are all electrically driven, taking into account the advantages of controlling emissions, reducing noise and improving energy efficiency.
