At 15:40 on July 1, a traffic accident caused by negligence was quietly staged at 800 meters of 174 kilometers of Provincial Highway 205 (in front of Longchang Prison), which sounded the alarm again for our daily travel.
At that time, a white van was speeding along the route from Fuquan to Longchang, but when it arrived at the gate of Longchang Prison, due to the driver's negligence, he did not fully observe the traffic in the opposite direction, so he rashly turned left. This rash move instantly shattered the tranquility and order of the road - the body of the white van unexpectedly collided with the left rear side of a normal small car, and then there was a heart-wrenching scrape with the right side of the red heavy-duty semi-trailer tractor that followed. Under the chain reaction, the small car unfortunately crashed into the anti-collision barrier at the entrance of the prison, and the scene was in shambles, and the three vehicles and protective equipment suffered varying degrees of damage.
Fortunately, no one was injured in this sudden accident, which is undoubtedly a blessing in disguise. However, the lessons behind the accident deserve deep reflection by each of us.
After a detailed investigation by the traffic police department on the spot, and the surveillance video was retrieved to restore the accident, the root cause of the accident was clearly pointed out - the white van truck did not give way to the straight vehicle in accordance with the law during the turning process, which seriously violated road traffic safety regulations.
