The myth of the creation of the twin snakes originated in China.
Fuxi Nuwa created a man, which is the appearance of two snakes intertwined.
In the script used 11,000 years ago by the Youyu clan in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River in China, the word "Jiao" is written as "Jiao", which is the appearance of two snakes sharing a head.
Jiao is a double snake
In Yu's writing, ordinary snakes are written as "worms", which is a kind of pit viper with a triangular head, and the glyphs are as follows.
The oracle "worm" is the pit viper
When two pit vipers (insects) are intertwined, it becomes a word for "sex", which means male and female mating.
The "Book of Rites and Moon Order", which records the culture of the Yu clan in ancient times, says:
Midwinter Moon... Tiger Initiation.
This mating is the meaning of male and female mating of yin and yang.
The "Tai" hexagram in the Book of Changes, the hexagram is also called "heaven and earth", which means that the yin and yang qi of heaven and earth are mated, and is considered by Youyu to be the root of the transformation of all things.
"Thai"... Heaven and earth are handed over and all things are connected, and the upper and lower are handed over and their minds are the same. ——Yi Chuan "Yi"
The mating of two snakes was regarded as a symbol of the mating of yin and yang by the ancient Youyu clan.
When everyone sees the following scene, it is estimated that the first reaction is to have the word "handover" in their minds!
Snakes mate
So, with Yu's "Jiao" character, why did the two snakes be painted with only one head?
This is, of course, because yin and yang "impulse to be harmonious", and the shared head symbolizes the combination of yin and yang, which is integrated.
In Youyu's "Classic of Mountains and Seas", such a double-body snake has been recorded, and the name is "Fat Legacy".
The mountain of Hun Xi, no grass and trees, more copper jade. The water flows out of the air, and the west flows into the sea. There is a snake with one head and two bodies, the name is fat, and when you see it, there is a great drought in its country. - "The Book of the North Mountains"
"The Classic of Mountains and Seas" is an astronomical monthly book, and the image of a two-body snake is located in the north, which naturally corresponds to the midwinter moon, which is the time of "the beginning of the tiger", suggesting that this is an important moment when yin and yang intersect.
A similar pattern appears on Mawangdui Feiyi, look at the north (the top of the T-shaped silk painting), the highest part of the middle is painted with a snake rolled into a Tai Chi pattern, and directly below are two snakes, one red and one white intertwined into a "cross" character.
Mawangdui "Fertilizer Relics"
It can be seen that the "Fat Legacy" in the "Classic of Mountains and Seas", a double snake, is actually "non-clothes", and the ancient sounds of "non-clothes" and "fat relics" are exactly the same, and they all draw a double snake, which is obviously the same thing.
It represents the two qi of yin and yang, "impulsive and harmonious".
"Guanzi Water and Land Chapter" also records a kind of double-body snake, named "蟡", which is similar to "fat relics" and "non-clothes", and is also the same thing.
The essence of the dry river was born in the cockroach. The man, one head and two bodies, was shaped like a snake, and it was eight feet long.
In China, the fat relics are known as Fuxi and Nuwa. It has appeared in the Xinglongwa culture as late as 8,000 years ago. Looks like this.
Such a double-body pattern later evolved into an extremely common pattern on Shang Dynasty bronzes.
The so-called gluttonous pattern is a fat relic of the double body
Until the Han Dynasty, such Fuxi Nuwa statues were still very popular.
Fuxi Nuwa spread to India and became the snake king Naga. Looks like this.
Fuxi Nuwa spread to Sumer and became like this.
In a Western book called "at the mercy", the serpent is called the devil who seduced Adam and Eve.
Hahaha.
Laughing.
Without this devil, Westerners would have only jumped out of Adam's armpit.
Hahahahaha
All the civilizations on the earth come from China, from the Shangshan culture of Zhejiang.
Count the illiterate people, not convinced to come to war.
