Now, people's demand for food is not only limited to the deliciousness of food, but also the diversity of food sources and balanced nutrition. Looking at the vast land resources, spanning multiple spaces such as mountains, waters, forests, fields, lakes, and grasses, a variety of foods bring a new experience to the tip of the tongue and make the three meals more flavorful.
Longyangxia Town, Gonghe County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is 2,600 meters above sea level, with an average annual water temperature of about 12 degrees Celsius. More than 10,000 tonnes of salmon are harvested and shipped to all parts of the country and around the world every year.
The water area of Longyang Gorge is more than 380 square kilometers, with an average water depth of 64 meters, and it is not frozen all year round, which brings unique natural conditions to the cultivation of salmon. When the reporter arrived at the operation boat in a speedboat, the staff was fishing for salmon. This is a new order of the day, and the staff has to complete the fishing before 5 p.m., and send it to Beijing after processing. The person in charge said that now it only takes less than 6 hours from salvage, on-site slaughtering, factory cleaning, to processing, delivery and delivery.
With people's increasing attention to healthy diet and nutritional balance, the construction of the whole industry chain such as salmon deep processing has also accelerated the development of the local area. The slicing, picking, packaging and other links in the processing workshop are in order, and various categories of products continue to meet the needs of consumers.
Today, the salmon breeding area in the Longyangxia reservoir area reaches 455.5 acres, with an annual output of about 12,000 tons and an annual sales output value of 650 million yuan. Fresh salmon can be supplied to the market all year round without interruption.
As one of the most common seafood, kelp is known as the "longevity dish" because of its rich nutrition, and it is also a frequent guest on the table. In Xiapu, Fujian Province, the "hometown of China's kelp", fishermen take advantage of the fine weather to drive fishing boats, shuttle through the kelp breeding area, and use cranes to tow kelp ropes onto ships. To facilitate storage, fishermen dry the kelp out of the water. However, this drying method is often restricted by the weather.
In the past two years, the local government has launched a digital kelp dehydration intelligent control system, which can automatically lift, dry and pack kelp. Wet kelp is only hung on a 1,500-meter-long conveyor chain, and after 6 hours, it can be turned into dried kelp that is easy to store, greatly improving the drying efficiency.
In order to meet the diverse needs of consumers, local kelp processing companies produce a series of kelp products with a wide variety of varieties according to different processing techniques.
At present, Xiapu aquaculture kelp occupies an area of about 300,000 mu and an output value of about 4 billion yuan, becoming one of the pillar industries for the local people to increase their income and get rich. After years of development, the whole industrial chain of kelp seedling, breeding, processing and sales has been established, and the kelp industry has been empowered by science and technology to run out of "acceleration".
Walking into the greenhouse sunshine room for microalgae cultivation in Langxia Town, Jinshan District, Shanghai, the staff is putting the cultivated algae seeds into the special breeding runway pool. As the water flow circulates through the movement, the green microalgae quickly spread throughout the pool. These single-celled organisms, each about 3 to 8 microns in diameter, have a high protein content of about 60%.
Zhang Liang, Technical Consultant of Microalgae Farming Project: Compared with traditional aquaculture fishmeal feed, the protein content of fishmeal is about 45%, while the protein content of algae is about 62%.
In addition, compared to conventional microalgae farming, the cost savings here can be 20%. Because all the carbon dioxide from the growth of microalgae comes from a nearby pig farm, it not only achieves "eating and squeezing" resources, reducing emissions and reducing carbon, but also saves a considerable part of costs.
Not only pig farms, but also large carbon dioxide emitters such as cement plants, steel plants, and thermal power plants can also develop microalgae farming by purifying carbon dioxide. This will not only help industrial companies reduce their emissions, but also provide people with more sources of protein and energy.
