It is suitable for all acidic plastic molds, such as P.V.C products, and transparent plastic molds, such as optical products.

M330 mold steel heat treatment process

Forging: Start forging at 1050°C and return to 850°C to cool slowly.

Annealing: 800-850°C after heat preservation furnace cooling 600°C air cooling, hardness up to 225HB.

Stress relief: Heat the furnace with 650°C shielding gas for 1-2 hours.

Characteristics of M330 Die Steel

Quenching: 1000-1050°C heat preservation after quenching oil or air cooling, and instant tempering at 50-70°C. (Hardness up to 55-57HRC)

Tempering: Immediately after quenching, it is put into the furnace for tempering at 200-250 °C, and the tempering time is 2-2.5 hours less.
