Since April 2024, in order to accurately grasp the grassland resources and ecological status of Aksai County, obtain information on the dynamic changes of grasslands in a timely manner, comprehensively reflect the regreening and growth of natural grassland pastures, and promote the protection and rational utilization of grassland ecological environment, the Aksai County Grassland Workstation has organized business personnel to carry out monitoring of forage grass regreening in 7 types of natural grasslands in the county.

A total of 7 sample plots and 21 quadrats were set up for the monitoring of forage regreening. In their work, the business personnel accurately collected ground data, recorded monitoring matters in detail, carefully filled in the monitoring data, and reported the data in a timely manner, and formed the "2024 Grassland Regreening Monitoring Report of Aksai County" based on the monitoring data. From the monitoring situation, due to the influence of geographical environment, high temperature climate and rainfall, there is a big difference in the regreening time and rate between the alpine and temperate grasslands in the seven types of natural grasslands in Aksai County. The natural forage grass in the county entered the early stage of rejuvenation in mid-April, and the rejuvenation rate was generally low, and it entered the general period of rejuvenation in May. At the end of June, the grassland temperate desert type in our county was affected by high temperature and scarce precipitation, and the regreening rate was poor. The regreening rate of the other six types of grassland was generally good. In 24 years, the county's forage grass regreening period was earlier than that of the same period last year.

It is of great practical significance to carry out the monitoring of the rejuvenation period, grasp the time, area and proportion of grassland regreening, and combine the climatic conditions to accurately and objectively evaluate the vegetation changes of grassland resources, which is of great practical significance for predicting the growth of vegetation in the year, rational utilization of grassland, and scientific management of grassland.
