Under the leadership of Yao Yancen, secretary of the party branch and principal of the Second Middle School in Peng'an County, Sichuan Province, the "Peng'an No. 2 Middle School Education Teaching Research Office" was officially established on October 13, opening a new chapter in Peng'an No. 2 Middle School's research and promotion of education.
"Promote the reform of classroom teaching, improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching, and improve the teaching level of teachers", President Yao's concept of governance is inspiring. At 5:00 p.m. on October 17, 2021, Wu Yiwen, vice president in charge of teaching, organized the first meeting of all members of the "Peng'an No. 2 Middle School Education and Teaching Research Room" in Room 310 of the Yinghui Building of the school. At the meeting, he talked about the importance of project research, emphasized the importance of establishing this teaching and research department, and announced the responsibilities and division of labor of the members of the "Peng'an No. 2 Middle School Education and Teaching Research Office".
At the meeting, Mr. Li An'an, the person in charge of the research office, first introduced the members of the research room attending the meeting, including three master's degree students from the school, Zhou Feng, Sun Jia, Yang Wanjun, and outstanding teachers of various disciplines. Secondly, he talked about his vision for the research of the project and made arrangements for the tasks of the research office this semester. Finally, Mr. Li also introduced the exploration of the topic "The Application of Innovative Thinking in Education and Teaching", which was unanimously recognized by everyone.
The participating teachers also introduced themselves and elaborated on their thoughts on the topic selection for the research project. Teacher Yang Wanjun's "Behavior Habit Formation Education Seminar" has been affirmed by everyone. The teachers in the research room were full of enthusiasm and waited for the new topic to be finalized.
