Recently, the 2024 Shanghai Virtual Sports Open "Bright Bear Xiaobai" virtual ski race was held in the Sheercool Urban Ski Space and the SNOW51 Urban One-stop Ski Space. The competition set up two events of snowboard and skier, divided into four groups: U8, U10, U14 and U18, and 12 athletes from Luwan Junior Sports School in Huangpu District participated in the competition and won 1 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze.
The event is divided into four points competitions and one finals, and the contestants compete for the qualification of the finals according to the points obtained in the points competition. After fierce competition, 9 members of the Luwan Junior Sports School Ski Team finally stood out and entered the finals.

In the finals, more than 40 players competed on the same field and passed through the laser doors on the left and right sides in 120 seconds. The referee records the number of valid passes and scores at the specified time. In the end, Ye Zezhen of the U8 group won the first place in the skiing event and the second place in the snowboard event, and Gong Xinni won the third place; Yan Han of the U10 group won the second place in the skiing event; Wang Siqi of the U14 group won the second place in the skiing event; Xu Jiawei in the U18 group won the second place in the skiing event and the second place in the snowboard event.
For the young Huangpu ski team, this competition is a test of the team's training results. The mentality, physical fitness, experience, and skills displayed by the athletes in the competition become the key points to determine the victory or defeat. Although there is still a lot of room for improvement in the team, for the Huangpu Ski Team, every event experience is a valuable opportunity to learn and improve.
