According to the "Shanghai Changning" WeChat public account, yesterday morning, a meeting of responsible party and government cadres was held in Changning District, Shanghai. The meeting announced the decision of the municipal party committee: Wang Lan will be appointed secretary of the Changning District CPC Committee; Zhang Wei will be appointed as a member, standing committee member, and deputy secretary of the Changning District CPC Committee; and Wang Weiren will no longer serve as secretary, standing committee, and member of the Changning District CPC Committee.

Wang Lan, the former deputy secretary and mayor of Changning District, "intends to serve as the head of the regional party committee" in the pre-appointment announcement of the municipal management cadres on March 19; Zhang Wei, former member of the Standing Committee of the Hongkou District Cpc Committee and deputy district chief, "intends to serve as the deputy post of the regional party committee and is proposed to be the candidate for the regional government" in the pre-appointment announcement of the municipal management cadres on the same day.

According to a group of personnel appointment and dismissal notices recently issued by the Shanghai Municipal Government, Wang Weiren has served as deputy secretary general of the Shanghai Municipal Government.

Wang Lan, female, born in February 1974, Han ethnicity, born in Wuhan, Hubei Province, full-time university, bachelor of economics, on-the-job graduate student, master of business administration, began working in July 1996, joined the Communist Party of China in June 1992. He is currently the secretary of the Changning District Party Committee.

He once served as deputy chief economist and general manager of the capital and finance department of Shanghai Urban Construction Investment and Development Corporation, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Finance Bureau, secretary of the party committee and president of Shanghai Century Publishing (Group) Co., Ltd. In September 2019, he was appointed deputy secretary, deputy district chief and acting district chief of Shanghai Changning District, and in January 2020, he was appointed deputy secretary and mayor of Shanghai Changning District.

Zhang Wei, male, born in September 1971, Han ethnicity, Nantong, Jiangsu, member of the Communist Party of China, joined the work in August 1993, graduate student of the Central Party School, Bachelor of Science. He is currently the deputy secretary of the Changning District CPC Committee.

He once served as deputy secretary of the party committee and mayor of Xinzhuang Town, Minhang District, secretary of the Jiangzi County Party Committee (elected) in Xigaze District, Tibet, standing committee member of the Hongkou District Cpc Committee, and deputy mayor of Hongkou District.
