Recently, led by Academician Wang Chen, sponsored by the China Health Promotion and Education Association and the National Center for Respiratory Medicine, and co-organized by the Respiratory Physician Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the Respiratory Disease Prevention and Control Committee of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, the fifth phase of the "Happy Breathing" China COPD Standardized and Graded Diagnosis and Treatment Promotion Project was successfully held.
It is understood that the fifth phase of the "Happy Breathing" project adheres to the goal of "focusing on improving patients' self-management ability and strengthening patients' science education", and mainly promotes the implementation of the COPD standardized care center and care unit project (CCC project), and the digital therapeutics applied in the CCC project are jointly developed and transformed by Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone enterprise Orange Family Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. and the National Respiratory Medicine Center/China-Japan Friendship Hospital.
Since its launch in 2017, the "Breathe Well" project has been committed to improving the diagnosis and treatment of chronic respiratory diseases and helping patients with COPD to better manage their diseases. At present, the "Happy Breathing" project has been implemented for four phases, which has promoted the improvement of the prevention and treatment capacity of COPD at the grassroots level and promoted the standardized and hierarchical diagnosis and treatment skills of COPD.
In the treatment of COPD, there are still some problems in the treatment of COPD, such as the low rate of clinical treatment plan selection in accordance with the guidelines, the poor treatment compliance of patients, the need to standardize treatment and long-term management, and the difficulty in significantly improving the incidence of acute exacerbations. The "Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Standardized Care Unit Project" is led by the National Center for Respiratory Medicine/China-Japan Friendship Hospital to set up the "National CCC Project Management Office", which integrates the concept and tools of "digital therapy" into the care system in the way of "combination of medicine and engineering", comprehensively improves the standardization of diagnosis and treatment, provides scientific, standard and sustainable health care, explores and establishes a standardized care system for COPD in different levels of medical institutions, and carries out qualification training and certification of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease specialists. Improve the level of care for patients with COPD in mainland China, and help the patient group maximize the health dividends of new digital therapeutics technologies.
