This volume includes three types: "Jiang Baishi Chronicle Proofreading", "Jiang Baishi Poetry Chronicle Proofreading" and "Jiang Baishi Cong Manuscript Editing and Proofreading". The former one was compiled by Mr. Xia Chengtao during his lifetime and has been published several times; The latter two are Mr. Xia's unpublished manuscripts, which are now collated and revised.
Mr. Xia's research on Jiang Kui began in 1929, and most of his writings were completed in the following years, including Jiang Kui's notes and chronicles. In 1957, Mr. Xia planned to revise the old manuscript of Baishi Zhu for Fu Zi, and on March 18, he recorded: "Revised the "Baishi Dictionary". This compilation began 20 years ago, but it has not yet been finalized, and it claims that it has worked hard to complete it. It was first published in the third issue of Literary Studies in 1957, published by the Shanghai Editorial Office of Zhonghua Book Company the following year, and revised and reprinted in 1961. This was followed by a 1967 reprint by the Taiwan Bay Chung Hwa Book Company. The 1981 revised edition of Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House was the "final proofreading", and was later included in the third volume of the eight-volume "Xia Chengtao Collection" published by Zhejiang Ancient Books Publishing House and Zhejiang Education Publishing House in 1997. The article on Jiang Kui's style of words in the front of the book, the original preface, was deleted because it had been included in the "Collection of Words on Yuelun Mountain", and it was replaced by a small quotation. "Now, because "The Complete Works of Xia Chengtao" is a single line for each volume, in order to facilitate the reader's reference, we hereby refer to the Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House edition to restore "On Jiang Baishi's Style of Words" as a preface (the text is based on the 1981 revised version, details later), and the small quotation is still placed after the zirconium. In 1972, Mr. Xia donated this book to Mr. You Zhishui and erased the words "self-saved version". There are many traces of revision in this book, and there are three major ends: first, the compilation of some words was adjusted, and second, some of the words were supplemented and corrected according to the Ming version of "Absolutely Miao Good Words", the Qing Yintang version of "Absolutely Miao Good Words", and the Daoguang edition of "Absolute Miao Good Words", and the third was to revise the notes. The revision of the chronology and the correction of the notes had been revised in the 1961 re-edition, while the proofreading of the word had not been adopted, and the reason for this was difficult to speculate. In this reprint, these proofreadings will be added in the same way.
In addition, Mr. Xia's diary from 1979 to 1980 was checked, and it was learned that Mr. Wu Wuwen, under the guidance of Mr. Xia, specifically undertook the revision of "Jiang Baishi's Chronicle Proofreading", but the Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House was unable to rearrange a large number of editions due to the difficulties of the printing house, and many revisions could not be corrected. In 1983, the Guangdong People's Publishing House published the annotations of Xia Chengtao and Wu Wuwen "Jiang Baishi's Word Proofreading", in which Mr. Xia was responsible for the content of the preface "On Jiang Baishi's Style of Words", the proofreading and punctuation of the main text, and the content and order of the "Commentary" were adjusted, which was enough to make up for the Shanghai Ancient Books Publishing House's edition of "Jiang Baishi's Chronicle of Words". This reprint, with reference to "Jiang Baishi's Proofreading", absorbs Mr. Xia's revised results.
"Jiang Baishi's Poems Edited by the Year" and "Jiang Baishi's Jungle Manuscript Edited School" are the manuscripts of Mr. Xia Chengxi. The two manuscripts are self-labelled in 28 volumes (bundles): volumes 1 to 11 belong to Jiang Baishi's poems and poems; Volumes 11 to 28 belong to the "Jiang Baishi Jungle Manuscript Editing School". Among them, the sixteenth, seventeenth, and eighteenth volumes of the "Baishi Jungle Manuscript" were originally cut and pasted manuscripts of Jiang Kui's calligraphy handwriting photocopies, and there were proofmarks under each article, but the cutouts had been cut out in full, and the proofnotes were left blank, and the proofmarks had been included in the subsequent 19th, 20th, and 21st volumes of "Silk Tieping", which were actually empty and useless in the 16th, 17th, and 18th volumes. The first eleven volumes of the manuscript were originally called "Baishi Poetry Collection School", and the last seventeen volumes were originally called "Baishi Jungle Manuscript Editing School".
In the manuscript of "Jiang Baishi's Poems", the original "Preface to Each Book", Lu Chunghui's "Preface to the Collection of Baishi Daoren's Poems", Lu Chunhui's "Baishi Daoren Poetry Collection", and "Yuyuan Jungle Carving" and "Baishi Daoren's Poetry Collection" Xu Zeng's preface were also deleted because the three articles were found in the "Preface to Each Edition" of "Jiang Baishi's Poetry Collection". The original column of "Commentaries of Various Families" is hereby changed to "Editorial Commentary" in accordance with the regulations of "Jiang Baishi's Compilation of Words". The twenty-seventh volume of Jiang Baishi's Manuscript Editing and Proofreading of the Baishi Collection of Manuscripts is compared with the Baishi Collection of Poems (edited by Xia Chengxi) published by the People's Literature Publishing House in 1959. It is now published in a published edition and attached to the "Jiang Baishi Poems Compiled in the Year of the School". The twenty-eighth volume of the "Annals" has been found in the "Jiang Baishi Chronicles", and has also been deleted from the "Jungle Manuscripts". The original manuscript of "Jiang Baishi's Jungle Manuscript Editing" is not in order, and Mr. Xia's original appendix to the table of contents of "Jungle Manuscript" is now set as a preface.
The original manuscript of "Jiang Baishi's Poetry Chronicle School" is a scrapbook, except for the chronology in front of the volume, the text is not marked with the text. Today, following the example of "Jiang Baishi's Chronicle Proofreading", the chronology is added in the corresponding position of the text. The original manuscript was completed earlier, and Mr. Xia Chengtao moved to Beijing in his later years, and saw rare materials such as "Famous and Virtuous Texts" in the Beijing Library, which were used to supplement the "Jiang Baishi Chronicle Proofreading" and "Jiang Baishi's Chronicle of the Year" and "Practical Examination", and the relevant revision results were not found in the original manuscript of "Jiang Baishi's Poetry Chronicle Proofreading". Following the revision of the "Jiang Baishi Chronicle Proofreading", and referring to the "Jiang Baishi Chronicle" and "Practical Examination", the chronology and proofreading of the original manuscript are adjusted.
The original manuscript of "Jiang Baishi's Manuscript Editing and Proofreading" begins with the main text, and the frontispiece Jiang Kui's "Original Preface" and "Silk Manuscript Summary" are absent, and the original manuscript is missing. Today, according to Mr. Xia's diary in 1955, it is known that he used the "Wuyingdian Collector's Edition of the Jungle Book" as the base book, and successively asked Mr. Zhao Wanli to proofread the Ming version of the Beijing Library, and Mr. Zhang Zongxiang to use the Zhejiang Library to collect the "Four Libraries of the Wenxian Cabinet"; Check the Zhejiang Library has a late Qing Dynasty Guangya Book Co., Ltd. copy of the Wuying Palace's "Silk Tie Ping", on which there is a vermilion and ink two color school language, the Zhu pen is the Zhao Shi Ming Gong School, and the ink pen is the Zhang Shi Wen Wen Cabinet School, according to this book, imitate the example of "Jiang Baishi Jungle Manuscript Editing School" to sort out, and supplement the frontispiece "Original Preface" and "Silk Tie Ping General Journal". In addition, according to the text, the first four libraries of the Wuyingdian volume were carefully revised, and the income was sorted out together this time. Mr. Xia's Qianlong manuscript "Silk Tieping" is in the old collection of Mr. Zhang Zongxiang, now in the Zhejiang Library, the original book is regarded as the upper and lower volumes, and now it is the first volume, so the frontispiece "Original Preface", "Silk Posts Ping Zongzi" and the main text volume 1, this dissimilar text are all like this, hereby explained.
Both manuscripts have not been finalized and published, and they have the nature of a long editor, and there are problems such as non-standard expression of proofreading and unclear scale of variant characters.
Mr. Xia Chengxian has spent a lot of time and diligence in Jiang Kui's research, and he has compiled three of them, which are all complete works of Jiang Kui, in addition to the compilation, and the compilation of the year, the examination, and the annotation are all in one, and there are even more that have not been reached so far. In the past, Mr. Xia examined Shiraishi's works and editions, and suspected that the "Shiraishi Jungle Manuscript" contained in the "History of the Song Dynasty and Art Literature" was "actually including poems, essays, and miscellaneous works", and planned to edit the complete works of Jiang Kui. On January 30, 1955, the diary said: "Write the "White Stone Collection" and discuss it with Uncle Xin. It can be seen that the "Baishi Jungle Manuscript" is the pattern of Jiang Kui's complete works drawn up by Mr. Xia. Today, the 28 manuscripts are named separately. And the general name is called "Jiang Baishi Ji Compilation Year". The collection of three compilations, dedicated to the study forest, can not only be used for "the complete art of the white stone", but also for the diligence of the Xia family in governing the white stone.
This book is one of the series of "The Complete Works of Xia Chengtao", which is the representative work of Mr. Xia Chengtao for the collation of ancient books, and the content is to chronicle, proofread and annotate the poems, lyrics and articles of Jiang Kui, a lyricist in the Song Dynasty. The book contains three parts: "Jiang Baishi's Chronicle Proofreading", "Jiang Baishi's Poetry Chronicle Proofreading", and "Jiang Baishi's Manuscript Editing and Proofreading". Among them, "Jiang Baishi's Chronicle of Words" was compiled by Mr. Xia Chengtao during his lifetime, and has been published several times, which can be said to be one of the most important reference materials for the study of Jiang Kui today.
