Wu Jian presided over the 123rd Standing Committee meeting of the 14th Gangu County CPC Committee

According to the Gangu County Rong Media Center, on the evening of October 16, Wu Jian, secretary of the Gangu County CPC Committee, presided over the 123rd Standing Committee meeting of the 14th Cpc Gangu County CPC Committee. Sun Zhongping, Wang Yamei, Wang Ming, Ma Fusheng, Zhang Junyi, Li Wanju, Li Binbin, Wang Jianxue, and Zhang Bingchun, members of the standing committee of the county party committee, attended the meeting, and Yang Fan, chairman of the standing committee of the county people's congress, and Ma Ji, chairman of the county CPPCC committee, attended the meeting as observers.

The meeting studied the spirit of the Central Work Conference on Talented Persons and the Third Meeting of the Leading Group for Talent Work of the Municipal CPC Committee, studied the implementation of the opinions; studied the matter of recommending candidates for the 15th CPC Gangu County Committee, alternate members, and discipline inspection commission members; and studied the matters related to recommending candidates for gangu County to attend the Eighth CPC Tianshui City Congress.

The meeting pointed out that General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Central Talent Work Conference was lofty, broad in vision, rich in connotation, and profound in thought, standing at the strategic height of the overall development of the cause of the party and the country, comprehensively reviewing the great achievements made in talent work since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Party, deeply analyzing the new situation, new tasks and new challenges facing talent work, and scientifically answering a series of major theoretical and practical issues in doing a good job in talent work in the new era, with a strong political, ideological, guiding and pertinent nature. It is a programmatic document guiding the work of talents in the new era. The whole county should deeply study and apply the new concepts, new strategies and new measures for talent work in the new era, adhere to the principle of the party managing talents, and cultivate and introduce talents in the fields of education, medical care, and rural revitalization in a planned and gradient manner, so as to lay a good talent foundation and provide talent support for promoting the high-quality economic and social development of the county.

The meeting demanded that the organization department of the county party committee should give full play to the overall function of taking the lead, organize and mobilize party organizations and party members and cadres at all levels in the county to deeply study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech, fully implement the central decision-making and deployment and the work requirements of the provincial and municipal party committees, take multiple measures at the same time, and accurately implement policies to provide talent guarantee and intellectual support for accelerating the promotion of high-quality development. It is necessary to adhere to the full perspective of talent introduction, the whole chain of talent cultivation, and the all-round use of talent, focus on building a stage for talent development, create a good environment, continue to increase the strength of work service guarantees, and enhance the overall attraction, cohesion and centripetal force of talents in the county.

The meeting stressed that the preliminary selection of candidates for the new county party committee members, alternate members, and county discipline inspection commission members is the core and key to doing a good job in the election of the new term. The county discipline inspection commission and the organization department of the county party committee should earnestly assume the overall responsibility of taking the lead, strengthen organizational leadership, strictly recommend procedures, strictly enforce work discipline, give meticulous guidance and strict control, and ensure that all kinds of candidates recommended meet policy requirements.
