Fast Technology reported on June 23 that Zhu Jiangming, founder and chairman of Leapmotor, said in the live broadcast that Leapmotor C16 is a IKEA and IKEA social product, and the price of the top model "starts with 1" and will never exceed 200,000.

It is reported that the Leapmotor C16 will be launched on June 28, and it is expected to deliver about 2,000 units in July, and more than 5,000 units will be delivered in batches in August.

The Leapmotor C16 adopts a 2+2+2 seat layout, equipped with 800V technology, with a body size of 4915/1905/1770mm, a wheelbase of 2825mm, and is available in six exterior color options.

The interior design continues the family style, offering three color schemes, equipped with a 14.6-inch center display, a 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch rear entertainment screen, with a built-in 8295 chip to ensure an intelligent and connected experience.

In addition, the C16 is also equipped with 21-speaker audio, 360-degree panoramic video, wireless fast charging and other luxury configurations.

In terms of seat layout, the first and second rows of seats support electric adjustment and heating and ventilation functions, and there is a small table in the rear of the passenger seat, and the second and third rows of seats support one-button adjustment.

Comfort features include three-zone individual air conditioning, electric sunshades and intelligent voice four-zone positioning.

The powertrain is available in both pure electric and extended range versions, with the electric version equipped with an electric motor with a maximum output of 215 kW and a lithium iron phosphate battery pack.

The extended-range version is equipped with a 95-horsepower 1.5-liter four-cylinder extended-range engine and an electric motor with a maximum output of 170 kW, with an all-electric range of 200 km and a CLTC combined range of 1,095 km.

Leapmotor also revealed that the B series models will be launched in 2025, targeting the 10-150,000 market, and are expected to be equipped with lidar and high-end intelligent driving functions.

The brand plans to form four product series: A, B, C, and D, and will carry out two OTA upgrades to the intelligent driving assistance system in July and the end of this year to unlock more intelligent driving functions.
