The 92-metre Drizle, a 92-metre hybrid superyacht, began sea trials

The 91.8-metre superyacht, codenamed "Project 1012", is currently undergoing sea trials and is registered under the name "Drizle" by its automatic identification system. The superyacht is scheduled to be delivered to the owner in July 2024.

On June 13, the superyacht was seen setting sail from the shipyards in Amsterdam. The design of the "Drizle" was carried out in collaboration with the Dutch studio Sinot and the relevant design office of the owner, and it was tailor-made for one of the valued and regular clients of Fetistar, who made a number of wise and unique requests thanks to his extensive yachting experience.

The "Drizle" is distinguished by its distinctive beveled exterior profile and traditional flared bow, a perfect blend of modern and classic style that makes it unique among yachts at sea. The ship works by De Voogt Architects, a firm of architects who design the ship, and every detail reveals exceptional quality and ingenuity.

It is worth mentioning that the "Drizle" is also the first superyacht to be equipped with a full hybrid electric class classification. The use of this innovative technology not only underlines the leading position of FETISTAR in the field of yacht building, but also demonstrates its deep commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development.

The interior design of Project 1012 reflects a "light family home style", with natural materials and sophisticated finishes creating a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. All cabins are located on the main deck, which also features a large swimming pool and open-air lounge area, with overhangs at the top of the deck providing just the right amount of shelter.

The upper deck is home to the master suite, family lounge and wellness area, each of which exudes sophistication and taste. Meanwhile, the master suite, family lounge and wellness area are located on the upper deck. The sun deck on the top floor is the perfect place to enjoy the sea views, and the sofas and loungers in front invite you to soak up the sun and sea breeze. The aft deck cleverly conceals two rescue boats, which are both practical and aesthetically pleasing.

When building the yacht, the owner specifically requested the construction of a spacious beach club at the stern, occupying a quarter of the total length of the lower deck. The large fixed aft platform combined with two folding platforms creates a 165 square metre on-water relaxation space that is a highlight on the yacht. Steps on either side of the aft platform lead to the stern main deck.

Between the cabin and the beach club is a side-mounted garage that can accommodate two 10-metre annex boats, a water skiing boat and a variety of water toys. The crew quarters at the front include the galley, crew dining room and crew quarters, which are worth noting that the staff quarters are luxuriously furnished like the guest rooms.

The Drizle features a full hybrid electric class notation, and the powertrain consists of two main engines and shaft-driven fixed-pitch propellers, each equipped with a 560 kW PTO/PTI electric engine and a 1 MW lithium-ion battery. The electric motor acts as a shaft generator to generate electricity for lodging loads or to charge battery packs, as well as for low-speed cruising while the generator or battery generates the required power.
