The conversion method applicable to each version
Step 1 First of all, you need to have an Ai software and use Illustrator to open the AI-formatted files.
Step 2: Execute the "File" → "Save As" commands.
Step 3: Select the folder where you want to save the files and select the EPS format in the save type.
Step 4: Click Save, select an earlier version of Illustrator 8 EPS (or below 8.0) in the pop-up dialog box, and finally click OK to save.
Step 5: Open the CorelDRAW software again and execute the "File" → "Import" commands in CorelDRAW.
Step 6: Select the folder where you want to save the .eps file, select the EPS format file, click the "Import" button, set the corresponding settings in the pop-up "Import EPS" dialog box, and click OK.
Step 7: At this point, the ai file has been successfully imported into CorelDRAW. Finally, check whether the cdr file and the AI file are consistent. For this conversion method, if there are no special effects in the AI material, there is generally no problem. Then we can save it as a CDR file.
