According to the latest statistics, there are 1,706 enterprises with the new version of veterinary drug GMP certification, and only 7 provinces with more than 100 enterprises

Through the analysis of the latest statistical data of veterinary drug enterprises registered with the China Veterinary Drug Information Network and 31 provinces and municipalities directly under the central government (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), it is found that the number of veterinary drug enterprises in each province and city as of June 2, 2024 varies greatly from province to province.

At present, there are 1,706 enterprises that have passed the new version of veterinary drug GMP certification in the country, including only 199 in Henan Province, 117 in Hebei Province, 126 in Shanxi Province, 291 in Shandong Province, 121 in Sichuan Province, 106 in Guangdong Province and 116 in Jiangsu Province, and there are more than 100 veterinary drug enterprises in these 7 provinces.

After combing, we were surprised to find that Shanxi Province, which is not near the sea and is not a large breeding province, has 126 veterinary drug enterprises in the province. Zhejiang, Fujian, and Shanghai, which are close to the sea and economically advanced, are far from more than 100. Therefore, the veterinary drug production enterprises in Shanxi are worth paying attention to.

From the perspective of statistical data analysis, nearly half a year has passed since the last statistics, and there are only 17 new veterinary drug production enterprises in the country. The number of new entrants has decreased significantly, which shows that the industry has entered internal integration, and the most obvious feeling is that the industry is becoming more and more involuted.
