"What kind of car is this?"
"Climb the ladder truck!" Walking into the fire brigade, the children excitedly answered the questions of the firefighters. On the morning of June 1st, the first-grade children and parents of Foshan Experimental School and Nanhai Chinese School walked into the special service brigade of Foshan Fire and Rescue Detachment to carry out a fire safety themed parent-child activity of "Fire Safety Face to Face and Channan Hand in Heart".
A total of 40 groups of parent-child families were invited to visit the fire rescue station, experience fire-fighting equipment and equipment, watch fire-fighting clothing and rope climbing ladder training display, and participate in interactive games such as tug-of-war and rings, so that each parent-child family can learn fire safety knowledge, so as to achieve the fire safety education effect of "educating a child, driving a family, and influencing the whole society".
Walking into the fire station, the elementary school students were attracted by the fire truck. The firefighters introduced the structure and use of different types of fire rescue vehicles in detail in easy-to-understand language, and demonstrated the key fire-fighting equipment such as fire water guns, hoses, gas masks, oxygen cylinders, emergency rescue suits, fire-fighting combat suits and other fire-fighting clothing, and the firefighters also deliberately selected 6-meter ladders, rope climbing and other daily training items to explain and perform, so that primary school students can enhance their awareness of fire protection and understand the importance of fire protection work by observing, contacting and experiencing fire fighting facilities and equipment.
"I've seen hydraulic pliers! We have also done fire drills in the kindergarten before, and today the things in this fire station are even cooler! This year's 6-year-old Hou Qiyun is a "fire fan", and he stood aside and sighed during the visit. He said that he usually paints mostly on the theme of firefighting, and he is very happy to be able to participate in this event.
"It's very hot after getting dressed, my hands are sweaty, and my firefighter uncle usually works hard to fight fires!" 7-year-old Zhao Zhouqi also experienced wearing a fire rescue suit, and after knowing the hardships of firefighters to extinguish fires, she and her classmates also have great respect for the work of firefighters.
A series of entertaining and educational interactive fire games such as fire-themed bouncy castles, escape tents, and fire-fighting cultural and creative rings were also set up at the event site, so that primary school students could learn and master fire safety knowledge in multiple dimensions and improve their fire escape and self-rescue capabilities. "1, 2, 3, come on...... We win! In a fierce tug-of-war competition between primary school students and firefighters, the primary school students united and worked hard until they won the competition. The firefighters also invited all parent-child families to experience making dumplings and taste the fruits of labor, and the atmosphere was happy.
"My child is relatively timid, but through this activity, I have seen the daily training of firefighters, and I know the hardships and responsibilities of firefighting, which can also make children more courageous." Tan Shanshan, a parent who participated in the event, hoped to hold more similar activities, so that children could intuitively experience and understand fire protection work and enhance their awareness of fire safety.
"Social units work together to carry out education, so that children can have more gains." Li Yan, deputy director of the Student Development Office of Foshan Experimental School, said that the activities are very meaningful for the children, allowing them to enjoy the joy of Children's Day on June 1st, and effectively promote the harmonious development of family, school and society.
Luo Ying'an, a political instructor of the special service brigade of the Foshan Fire and Rescue Detachment, said, "Inviting students to experience the fire station is to let children establish a fire safety awareness from an early age and sow the seeds of consumer safety in their hearts." ”
The Sanshui District Fire and Rescue Brigade and the Provincial Fourth Martial Arts Institute also jointly held the theme activity of "Childlike Companion Firefighting, Dancing Flame Blue" Fire Experience Open Day. During the visit, the firefighters temporarily received a police report: "10:03:26, fire dispatch, fire dispatch...... 500 meters from the Tangjia toll station of Sanshui Erguang Expressway to Zhaoqing direction (the truck caught fire). In less than 30 seconds, the firefighters were ready to go to the scene. Such a rapid police dispatch speed surprised the parents and children who visited the scene, and the cute babies applauded one after another.
Next, the Foshan Fire and Rescue Detachment will continue to take "Guangdong's leading and the country's first-class" as its goal, and continue to promote the "five advances" of fire safety by carrying out various forms such as fire-themed painting, poetry, short video poster contests, and firefighting volunteer publicity activities, so as to comprehensively improve the city's fire safety awareness and fire prevention capabilities, so as to create a high-level fire safety environment and help the city's high-quality development.
