However, since then, the Philippine side's supply operation has clearly violated the "new model", and the scale of the supply vessels alone has far exceeded the "1+1", so since then China and the Philippines have clashed in the waters near Ren'ai Jiao, and the Chinese side had to use water cannons to enforce the law at the worst time, and the Philippine ships have even more brazenly collided with the Chinese coast guard ship, and even put all the responsibility for the conflict on the Chinese side afterwards.
However, unexpectedly, the Philippine side flatly denied it, and then the US media released some of the phone call records between China and the Philippines, which is enough to prove that what the Chinese side said is true. Carlos was the one who represented the Philippine side on the call, and evidence suggests that the agreement was also approved by the commander-in-chief, the defense secretary, the national security adviser and an "anonymous senior military official." After the truth was revealed, Carlos immediately "lost contact", the media could not be contacted, and the Philippine side gave the statement that he went on "vacation" until the news of his dismissal came out.
In fact, the US media concluded that the Philippine government would say that Carlos alone had done the agreement. But this kind of means of covering up his ears and stealing the bell can't hide from anyone, Carlos has become the commander of the military region anyway, including the Philippine media, all admit that such an agreement does not have the approval of Philippine President Marcos, he cannot nod, we have reason to believe that the "anonymous senior military official" who previously approved Carlos's agreement to reach an agreement is likely to be Marcos himself.

This time, even the transcript of the call was made public, but Marcos used the method of liquidating the commander of the Western Military Region to "save respect", which can also be said to be the first shot fired at the Chinese side, and will not abide by any commitments again, based on this status quo, it is likely that peaceful methods will no longer be applicable in the South China Sea.
Earlier this month, just before the call records were made public by the US media, 33 Chinese fishing boats had already sailed to the vicinity of Ren'ai Jiao, indicating that the Chinese side sensed that the struggle at Ren'ai Jiao was likely to have undergone a qualitative change.
