You are unkind and unjust, Kishida doesn't care, the F35 factory opens its doors to welcome the PLA

author:Yan Shujun

Recently, the mainland received an invitation from the Japanese Government inviting a delegation of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) to visit the important bases of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force and the Air Self-Defense Force. It is reported that this also includes the base for the deployment of F-35 fighters by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force and the factory for the production of F-35s. Sino-Japanese relations have always been delicate, especially since the Kishida government came to power, closely behind the United States to deal with China, resulting in particularly tense relations between the two countries, and now take the initiative to open the door to invite the People's Liberation Army into the F35 factory, such a friendly gesture, does it mean that the relationship between China and Japan ushered in an important signal to break the ice? Does the U.S. know that the Japanese government is doing this? With the character of the United States, once it knows about Japan's move, it will certainly not let the country go. But today is different from the past, and Kishida may not be able to manage so much.

In the past period, the U.S. economy has been in serious trouble, and the yen exchange rate has fallen sharply, and the U.S. has not hesitated to target Japan in order to suck blood, resulting in Japan's assets being ruthlessly plundered by the United States. Although Japan has also begged the United States to let it go, it is clear that the attitude of the United States is "What's wrong with you letting me suck it, as an ally and partner, isn't this how it should be?" In this regard, if Japan wants to save the yen from continuing to fall, it must find a partner who can resist the financial hegemony of the United States. Therefore, the Kishida government approached China in the hope that China would lend a hand. Otherwise, it would be absolutely impossible for the Kishida government to make overtures to China.

It is worth mentioning that the Japanese government recently re-emphasized the importance of building a "strategic and mutually beneficial relationship" with China in its diplomatic blue paper. Because of the discharge of nuclear wastewater from the Fukushima nuclear power plant last year, not only did the exchange of visits between Chinese and Japanese military officers and cadres stop, but China also took measures to prohibit Japanese aquatic products from entering the Chinese market. This move has brought huge economic losses to Japan. Under such circumstances, in order to prevent further economic losses, Japan's economic and political circles have shown a strong desire to restore economic and trade relations between the two countries, such as resuming the mechanism of reciprocal visits between military officers at the school level of the two countries. From this point of view, Japan's initiative to sue for peace with China is not entirely because it wants China to lend a helping hand to stop the continuous decline of the yen exchange rate, but also because the country's economy really cannot hold on.

Banning Japanese aquatic products from entering the Chinese market is simply hitting the country seven inches. Even if the United States is no longer satisfied and re-angry, Japan will no longer be able to control so much. What's more, Kishida is gradually beginning to understand in his heart that blindly following the United States will not benefit at all, but will plunge Japan into a greater crisis. For its own sake, the United States even demanded that the Bank of Japan refrain from intervening in the foreign exchange market. Isn't there such a saying? Don't blame me for being unjust, especially since Kishida's move is not unjust, at best, it can only be said that it is a method that has to be taken to save himself. So will China pick up the ice-breaking signal from Japan? In other words, it is okay to lend a hand, but only if it depends on how much sincerity Japan has.
