Build a green mine
With a green foundation and a starting point from the concept of ecological civilization, the picture scroll of Qingshui Camp Mine and Qingshan Mountain is slowly spreading.
In 2019, Qingshuiying Mine carried out ecological environment reclamation and greening of the gangue dump on the north side of the mining area, covered the slope and platform of the gangue dump with 55,000 cubic meters of soil through platform finishing, and carried out green planting on the basis of soil covering, and at the same time planted grass squares and sowed grass seeds on the slope of the gangue dump to reduce soil loss and dust. Now, five years later, the small saplings planted in the green have taken deep root in the reclaimed land and have become forests. The former head of Montenegro is gone, replaced by a forest of green trees integrated with the surrounding mountains, the environmental quality of the gangue field has been significantly improved, and the ecological restoration effect is good.
"After several years of treatment, small animals such as pheasants and hares can often be found here, and the vegetation of the gangue mountain has gradually recovered, and they have also made a home here." Talking about the current gangue dump, Wu Xiaolong, an environmental protection worker at Qingshuiying Mine, showed a pleased smile.
Through their long-term persistence and efforts in green development, the people of Qingshuiying have put on a new outfit for the gangue field, and the black soil that has been dormant for a long time has regained new vitality. In the next step, Qingshuiying Mine plans to continue to carry out ecological restoration of the subsidence area on the south side of the mining area and continue to promote the construction of green mines.

In recent years, Qingshuiying Mine has intensified the construction of green mines, organized employees to carry out voluntary tree planting activities for many times, continued to replant vegetation in key areas such as green belts and squares in the mining area, continuously increased the diversity of plants in the mining area, and always adhered to greening in construction and beautification in production.
Up to now, the green area of the mine has reached 12.05 hectares, including 95,954.4 square meters of lawn, 10,943 square meters of hedges, 5,440 square meters of ground cover plants, 5,926 square meters of herbaceous flowers and woody flowers, 2,373 shrubs, and more than 10,000 trees.

Smart water came into being
If reclamation management and greening construction are the interpretation of "green mountain", then controlling the total amount of water intake and reusing mine water are the vivid definition of "green water".
In 2022, the construction of the smart water platform of Qingshuiying Mine will be completed, and all meter data can be uploaded to the platform. Through the management and control of the "smart water" system, the real-time online monitoring of the water consumption of the production and domestic water sources of the whole mine, the automatic judgment of sudden abnormal conditions, the generation of alarms and the notification of relevant personnel, strengthen the control of the total amount of water intake.
At the same time, the mine has also achieved the role of water treatment and quality reuse in the mine through pipeline transformation, and achieved the goal of using all its own mine water, concentrated brine and domestic sewage for production water, which has greatly strengthened the reuse of mine water resources.
In the same year, Qingshuiying Mine passed the on-site inspection of the Yellow River Water Conservancy Commission and successfully obtained the mine water withdrawal permit. In the future, the mine will continue to adhere to the water resources management idea of "determining land by water, people by water, and production by water", continuously improve the water resources management system, improve water resources management capabilities, and provide new ideas for energy conservation and environmental protection for the high-quality development of the mine.
