Before further cracking down on Lai Qingde, the mainland took the lead in countering the black hand behind the DPP authorities.
On the same day that Lai and Xiao took office, the Ministry of Commerce announced that China had imposed sanctions on three U.S. companies involved in arms sales to Taiwan, and that Boeing Defense, Space and Security, General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, and General Dynamics Land Systems had been added to the list of unreliable entities. After being added to the list, these companies will be barred from engaging in China-related import and export activities, prohibited from making new investments in China, and all executives of the companies involved will be barred from entering China. Considering that there are a large number of economic ties between China and the United States, and that many American companies have certain interests in China, China's sanctions have directly hit the chain of interests of relevant US companies, and once again remind the US that if it secretly understands "Taiwan independence", it will be subject to targeted countermeasures from China! As far as the island is concerned, sensitive people have long sensed that something is wrong.
As early as January this year, after Lai Qingde won the election in Taiwan, Taiwan's stock market broke out a round of sharp decline, because a large number of foreign capital left, and the reason why foreign capital collectively ran away is not difficult to guess, it is precisely because of the fear that Lai Qingde will intensify the situation in the Taiwan Strait and increase geopolitical risks after he takes office. In April this year, foreign capital withdrew another $5 billion from Taiwan stocks, the most in half a year! Just as Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin stressed at a press conference on the 20th, no matter what pretense or banner it uses, the pursuit of "Taiwan independence" separatism is doomed to failure, and "Taiwan independence" is a dead end! Otherwise, Taiwan's "dangerous military and fierce war" situation is likely to further aggravate and the dark clouds of military conflict will hang over the Taiwan Strait.
