According to multiple sources, in mid-to-late April 2024, Huawei terminals updated the first "work" of its Pura series - Pura 70, which is also the second mobile phone of the flagship product line since the return of the "100% domestically produced" Huawei HiSilicon Kirin.
Before the release of Pura70, it was speculated that Pura70 is likely to be equipped with the same specifications as Mate60 or "overclocked", and the increased frequency version of Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 9000S, however, although it has only been about half a year, Huawei still brought an "unexpected" and "surprising" new Taishan super-large core iteration of "Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 9010".
As you can see from the picture above, compared with the HiSilicon Kirin 9000S's one 2.62GHz Taishan core + three 2.15GHz Taishan cores + four 1.53GHz ARM public permanently licensed Cortex-A510 cores, the HiSilicon Kirin 9010 brings a new architecture iteration of a 2.3GHz Taishan architecture "super core".
The remaining three 2.15GHz Taishan cores, four 1.53GHz ARM public permanently licensed Cortex-A510 cores, and Huawei HiSilicon's Maleonn GPU technology, the Maleoon 910, all maintain the same specifications as the 9000S.
According to the CPU test of Geekbench 5.0, the single-core and multi-core CPU data of the Pura70 product equipped with Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 9010 is significantly improved compared with the 9000S of the Mate 60. The overall performance is close to Qualcomm's top processor 8+ Gen 1, far exceeding 8 Gen 1 and 888, and it is also the case of the new architecture Taishan super core reducing the frequency by 0.32GHz.
Despite this, Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 9010Compared with Qualcomm's flagship 8Gen2 last year and 8Gen3 this year, as well as this year's mainstream MediaTek Dimensity 9300 and iPhone's A17 Pro, there is still a big gap, but the future is promising, and we look forward to the new iteration of Mate process and architecture in the fall of 2024.
In addition, the Pura70 product, which is equipped with Huawei's HiSilicon Kirin 9010 and Huawei's HarmonyOS system, is not inferior to Android models and Apple products equipped with the latest processor technology in 2024 in terms of overall fluency and battery life.
It is reported that the nova13 product, which will be launched in June 2024, is expected to receive the devolved Kirin 9010.
