This morning (May 18), the 2024 China National Fitness Walking (Run) Competition (Shanghai Chongming Station) City Linkage Relay Race and the 2nd China Entrepreneur Chongming Challenge kicked off in Changxing Island Country Park, where thousands of entrepreneurs and more than 1,000 sports enthusiasts from all over the country gathered together to release health and vitality in the warm sun.
At 8 o'clock in the morning, at the brief opening ceremony, contestants from Guangshan County, Xinyang City, Henan Province, Wulingyuan District, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, Wansheng Economic Development Zone, Chongqing City and other cities walked on the stage to show professional fitness walking (running) movements.
It is understood that the Chongming Station event is the fourth stop of the city linkage relay race, sponsored by the Social Sports Guidance Center of the General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Chongming District, Shanghai, and undertaken by the Sports Bureau of Chongming District, Shanghai. The National Fitness Walking (Running) Competition is divided into a 5-kilometer fitness walking experience race and a 10-kilometer fitness running challenge. With the sound of the starting gun, all the athletes started from the same starting line and walked along the sunny lawn, citrus style garden and lotus fun garden of Changxing Island Country Park. In the competition, the contestants can not only show speed and passion, but also enjoy the scenery along the way, and feel the joy and beauty brought by the integration of sports, tourism and ecology.
It is reported that in order to ensure the success of this competition, the organizing committee has done a good job of sufficient security. A total of 150 volunteers and 100 security guards were arranged throughout the competition to cooperate with public security and medical personnel to maintain order on site. The event will set up 3 supply points, 3 ambulances, and a number of emergency rescue vehicles to ensure that the athletes can enjoy the sports while also have a safe and worry-free competition environment.
In the afternoon, the 2024 China National Fitness Walking (Running) Competition (Shanghai Chongming Station) City Linkage Relay Race and the 2nd China Entrepreneur Chongming Challenge Special Promotion Conference were successfully held in Lingang Changxing Science and Technology Park, attracting more than 30 representatives of entrepreneurs from various industries in Shanghai to participate, contributing wisdom and strength to the development of Chongming.
At the meeting, the entrepreneurs watched the promotional video of the master plan of Chongming District. At present, Chongming is making every effort to seize major strategic opportunities such as the integration of the Yangtze River Delta, rural revitalization, maritime power, green development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and "double carbon", as well as major historical opportunities for rail transit in the east and Shanghai-Chongqing-Rong high-speed rail in the west. At the same time, the business environment and supporting services of Chongming Three Islands have been continuously optimized and improved, attracting high-quality enterprises to settle down one after another.
Subsequently, Changxing Town, Shanghai Changxing Marine Equipment Industrial Base, and Lingang Changxing Science and Technology Park introduced their respective industrial planning, policy advantages and supporting services to the entrepreneurs present in an all-round and multi-level manner, so as to give them an in-depth understanding of Chongming to the greatest extent. At the event, five entrepreneurs from different fields shared their unique insights on the future development of Chongming based on their own experiences, and actively offered suggestions and suggestions for the construction of the ecological island.
