About the 2024 People's Assessors in Beibei District

In accordance with the "People's Assessors Law of the People's Republic of China", the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme People's Court, and the Ministry of Public Security's "Measures for the Selection of People's Assessors" and the "Beibei District 2024 Implementation Plan for the Selection of People's Assessors", the Beibei District Judicial Bureau, in conjunction with the Beibei District People's Court and the Beibei District Public Security Bureau, used the national people's assessor selection system to randomly select a total of 260 people's assessors to be appointed through procedures such as accepting individual applications and organizational recommendations, randomly selecting candidates, confirming intentions, and reviewing qualifications. Among them, 208 candidates to be appointed were randomly selected, and 52 candidates were proposed to be appointed by individual applications and organizational recommendations. The list of candidates to be appointed as people's assessors in Beibei District in 2024 is hereby announced to the public.
During the publicity period, any unit or individual who has violated laws and discipline and does not meet the requirements for the selection of people's assessors may report to the Beibei District Bureau of Justice through visits, letters, or phone calls. The situation should be reported in a factual manner, with clear and specific facts or clues, and cannot be slandered or falsely accused. Those who report the situation must have their real names and provide contact information.
The Beibei District Bureau of Justice, together with the Beibei District People's Court and the Beibei District Public Security Bureau, will earnestly investigate and verify the reported situation, and where it is verified that the requirements for the selection of people's assessors are not met, the qualifications of the candidates to be appointed will be revoked.
