The Liaomidu River is wide, the river water is crystal clear, the mountains and rivers depend on each other, the trees are lush, and coming to the Maze River is like walking into a beautiful gallery, and the beautiful scenery unfolds to you in turn. Broken bridges, ferries, post roads, and cliffs make you dizzy, as well as the quaint villages, the beautiful Buyi songs, let you experience the simplicity of the rural folk customs, the clear river, the river beach of Wanwan, and the leafy ancient trees by the river make you forget the hustle and bustle of the city, forget the troubles of life, and return to the basics and devote yourself to the embrace of nature. There are still many ancient post road cultures left on the riverside, presenting a quiet and mysterious beauty. For tourists who like to explore nature and history, the Lost River Broken Bridge Scenic Area is undoubtedly a good place worth visiting.
Today, a few of our old friends who love to explore literature and history came to Liaomidu again, and there is an ancient bridge in Liaomidu, which is called Shuntianqiao. This bridge was headed by Li Fangsen, and there were nearly 1,000 officials and caring people
Donate money to build. The Shuntian Bridge was built in the year of Guangxu Bingxu (1886 AD) and completed in the year of Guangxu Gengyin (1890 AD). The bridge is 100 meters long, 7 meters wide, 15 meters above the water, and originally had five holes. In 1929, a once-in-a-century rainstorm broke out, and under the strong impact of the wood washed down from the upstream, three holes were broken, and two of the surviving holes have been preserved to this day, so it was named the Lost River Bridge.
The old boatman crossed us to the other side of the river, and the houses of the old post house on the bank of the river are still intact. There are seven stone tablets erected in front of the post station, which record the reasons for the construction of the Shuntian Bridge and the merits of the gentry and caring people who donated funds to build the bridge, which provides a basis for us to explore the humanities and history of the Shuntian Bridge. Behind the seven stone tablets, there are four big characters of "honest and confused" in the savage music book. These four big characters and the cliff stone carved behind the post station are inscribed by the people of the seven uniques: "If you don't do the prince and the doctor, the right will call the eight characters lost." He returned and lay in the depths of the clouds, lest the king ask if there was a distant correspondence, who was the savage (埜人), and what was the purpose of his inscription "honest and confused". Who is this hermit and why he is afraid that the king will find it, leaving people with a difficult mystery. Let's take a look at the records of these seven stone tablets, whether they can solve this mystery.
The inscription of "Shuntian Bridge" records: "Yuntao is a gangster, familiar with the ability to stalk; The snow waves are surging, and the courage of Feng He. The Ark can be driven, and it is always worried; That is, the ability of a reed, anti-sinking and full of worries. The inscription of "Shuntian Bridge Record" is loaded: "Those who wade in winter can still be cold, and they return to the river several times in spring", "There is no mountain beam in the ocean, why do those who drive horses go leisurely, and why do those who lead cattle come forever". It can be seen that at that time, the lost river brought great difficulties to the merchants and residents of Shanggui, Yunnan, Xia, Fujian and Guangzhou.
The inscription of "Thousand Autumns Immortal" records that the government and the people jointly donated to this bridge, and recorded the donations of 172 people, including the main hall of Duyun Prefecture, the main hall of Dushan Prefecture, the main hall of Pingyue Prefecture, the Youfu of Pingyue Prefecture and the common people;
The inscription of "The Merit of the Official Gentry" records that 143 officials and gentry helped build this bridge, including the Shengzheng Hall of the Qing Military Mansion, the Jinfeng Lady and the Dushan Prefecture Main Hall, and the Qin Jiatong Governor supervised the Dushan Bureau, that is, the main hall of the County;
The inscription of "Desire to Guang Futian" records the donation of 171 squires and ordinary people; The inscription of "Eternal Existence" records that Guangxi Fengman Qingyuan Mansion Economic and Political Hall Stone, Guangxi Qingyuan Prefecture Yishan County Zhengtang Qin, Guangxi Qingyuan Prefecture Sien County Zhengtang Li, Guiyang Prefecture Guiding County Zhengtang Li Rongjie, Guiyang Prefecture Guiding County Teachings Wang Zhizhen, hereditary Daping Fa Zhengtang Song Guangshun, the former Jiangxi Grand Chief Examination Chen and other officials and gentlemen, ordinary people and other 163 people donated funds to build this bridge;
The inscription of "Festival of Filial Piety and Good Fruit" records the donation of 150 women such as the Wu family of the filial piety of the Song Festival, the Liu Mo family of the Xiao Xiao Festival, and the Xiao Long Wang family of the Jing Table Festival, which is not difficult to see that women participated in the construction of public welfare undertakings in the late Qing Dynasty, and also showed that the social status of women in the late Qing Dynasty has been greatly changed;
The inscription of "Sufeng Heartland" records the donation of 132 people.
From this, it is not difficult to see that the construction of the Shuncheon Bridge has cost a huge amount of money, and there are many donors involved, and it can also be seen that the bridge has a huge effect on the development of the local economy, the spread of culture, and the exchange of nationalities.
