In the context of the rise of new energy, high-end new energy MPVs have quickly emerged in the market with their unique advantages. This includes the Wei brand Gaoshan, which not only performs well in terms of space, comfort, driving, safety, etc., but also has a C-position seat, which comprehensively reshapes the imagination of China's high-end MPV. According to the feedback from the owners who participated in the survey of "100 Car Owners Evaluating New Cars", the 2024 Wei brand Gaoshan has been widely praised in terms of ride comfort, acceleration ability and exterior styling, but some consumers have reported that it has problems such as short pure electric range and high interior odor.
Among the 103 valid questionnaires collected, according to the real evaluation of the 2024 Wei brand Gaoshan by car owners in terms of model fundamentals, driving experience, use cost, quality and reliability, and pre-sales/after-sales service, the comprehensive score of the 2024 Wei brand Gaoshan in this survey was 87 points, which met the recommended standards of the car quality network.
1. Portrait of car owners: male users are mostly male users, and the proportion of second-time car buyers is high
Judging from the results of this survey, among the 103 2024 WEY brand Gaoshan owners who participated in the survey, 92.2% were men and 7.8% were women, which shows that the solemn Wei brand Gaoshan is loved by more male consumers. Among them, second-time car buyers account for more than 60%. It is not difficult to see that most of the people who buy the 2024 Wei brand Gaoshan are middle-aged consumers in their 30s, and most of them are second cars in their lives.
Second, the fundamentals of the model: the appearance of the atmosphere is outstanding, the ride and storage space are outstanding
In terms of appearance, the WEY brand Gaoshan adopts the front face design of "Gaoshan Water Curtain", supplemented by a large area of chrome plating material, and the visual effect is dignified and atmospheric. The side of the car is straight, and it is more capable with the blessing of the "water and sky" waistline. At the same time, the B/C/D pillars are concealed to create a semi-floating roof look. In this survey, 51.5% of the owners gave a positive evaluation of the "exterior design" of the 2024 WEY brand Gaoshan, and another 32% of the surveyed owners were satisfied with the "assembly process".
In a survey of the interior of the 2024 Wei brand Gaoshan, 43.7% of owners believe that the new car performs well in terms of "riding space". 3. Driving experience: outstanding comfort and large turning radius
When it comes to measuring how well a car feels on the road, everyone looks for different things. In this survey, 63.1% of car owners said that they value the "ride experience" more. In addition, 21.4% and 15.5% of car owners value "driving and riding experience" and "driving feeling" respectively.
In terms of power, the Wei brand Gaoshan is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5T engine + dual motors. Among them, the maximum engine power is 115kW and 125kW, and the total power of the electric motor is 265kW and 215kW, respectively. In the WLTC mode, the all-electric range is 140 km and 170 km, respectively. Thanks to the addition of an electric motor, the WEY Alpine starts very quietly and has an excellent power response. In the further investigation, the 2024 WEY brand Alpine will be surveyed on driving experience satisfaction in six aspects: acceleration performance, steering performance, braking performance, quietness, comfort and functionality. Most of the owners who participated in the survey gave high evaluations of "comfort" and "acceleration performance", but some owners believe that the 2024 WEY brand Alpine still has room for improvement in terms of "steering performance" and "quietness".
In the comprehensive evaluation of the 2024 Wei brand alpine driving experience, the sum of the surveyed car owners who gave "very satisfied" and "satisfied" evaluations accounted for more than 70%, 17.5% of the owners said "average", and only 10.6% of the owners clearly said "dissatisfied".
Fourth, the cost of use: the pure electric mileage is short, and the maintenance cost is reasonable
For the pricing of the 2024 Wei brand Alpine model, many owners believe that the price is relatively high, because it provides advanced configuration and excellent performance, the overall cost performance is excellent, and 68.9% of car owners believe that their car purchase price meets psychological expectations. After the purchase of the vehicle, the cost of use in the later stage has become the most concerned topic for car owners.
The 2024 WEY Gaoshan uses a plug-in hybrid system, and in this survey on vehicle fuel consumption, 60.2% of the surveyed owners reported that its fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is less than 8 liters. At the same time, some of the interviewed car owners said that the pure electric range of the car is too short, which affects daily use. In addition, out of the 103 surveys surveyed, 68 car owners considered the repair/maintenance costs to be in line with expectations and within a reasonable range.
In the overall evaluation of the cost of use of the 2024 Wei brand Gaoshan, the owners who participated in the survey gave a relatively objective evaluation, with the largest proportion of owners believing that it is "average", 42.7%, 35% believing that "satisfied", and 7.7% believing that "dissatisfied".
Fifth, quality and reliability: body accessories and electrical appliances have slightly more problems
According to the survey results, 18 of the 103 valid questionnaires received showed that the vehicle had had non-human faults or quality problems, accounting for 17.5%.
Among these vehicles with non-human faults, the proportion of first-time failures occurring within 500 kilometers is the highest, at 46.6%. According to the survey results of the breakdown period, 48.5% of car owners said that the vehicle broke down within one month of purchase.
In a further survey of car owners, we found that the proportion of non-human faults in body accessories and electrical appliances was relatively high, which was also reflected in the results of the survey "the most serious quality problems or defects in this car". After investigation, it was found that most of the complaints of car owners about the 2024 Wei brand Gaoshan were reflected in the "peculiar smell in the car", accounting for 25.2%. In addition, some of the interviewed car owners said that there are still problems such as "abnormal noise" and "audio-visual system failure" in Wei brand Gaoshan.
Although some owners have complaints about the quality and reliability of the 2024 Wei brand Gaoshan, they still give a relatively objective evaluation. Among them, more than seventy percent of the surveyed car owners gave "very satisfied" and "satisfied" evaluations, and only 8.7% of the interviewed car owners said "dissatisfied".
6. Pre-sale/after-sales service: There are many problems of unfulfilled sales commitments
During the sale and subsequent maintenance of the vehicle, the role of the consumer also changes from the prospective owner to the owner, and the contact with the car dealer is the most frequent during this period. Therefore, the quality and professionalism of the pre-sales/after-sales service of automobile dealers play a vital role in the purchase of vehicles and the subsequent maintenance of vehicles.
In this survey of the pre-sales/after-sales service of the 2024 Wei brand Gaoshan, all car owners chose "authorized 4S stores" for their maintenance channels. In addition, 20 of the 103 questionnaires received indicated that car owners had encountered problems with pre-sales/after-sales services, accounting for about 19.4%.
Through further investigation, it was learned that most of the owners' complaints about the pre-sale/after-sales service of the 2024 Wei brand Gaoshan were concentrated in the aspect of "unfulfilled promises", which was also reflected in "specific problems in the pre-sale/after-sales service of the vehicle". Among them, the problem of "unfulfilled sales promises" accounted for the highest proportion. In addition, some owners reported that the 2024 Wei brand Gaoshan had "non-standard operation".
However, in the overall evaluation of pre-sales/after-sales service, the surveyed car owners still gave a relatively objective evaluation, of which 38.8% of the car owners thought they were "very satisfied", 50.5% of the car owners thought they were "satisfied", 7.8% of the car owners thought they were "average", and only 2.9% of the car owners said they were "not satisfied".
General Comments:
The 2024 WEY brand Gaoshan is deeply loved by consumers for its large space, comfortable ride and domineering appearance design. Judging from the results of the survey on the "most satisfied" project of the 2024 Wei brand Gaoshan, "driving experience" has become the most satisfactory option, accounting for 52.4%. In the "most dissatisfied" survey option, 24.3% of car owners complained about the "cost of use". However, in terms of the overall survey results, the 2024 Wei brand Gaoshan is more competitive in the same class, and nearly eighty percent of owners said that they will also consider the Wei brand model when changing cars.
